What Kind of Question is That?
Status: Familial (reader and coaches)/ Romantic (reader and the team)
Summary: A reporter asks your father/coach if he'd let you date someone from the team, and everyone is curious to see how he responds. Especially your teammates.
The Assistant Coach Masterlist
Blinding lights and the deafening sounds of numerous camera shutters clicking surrounded you as you sat at the same table as your father and team. Just another contractual team interview, as everyone on the team does their best to try and look as pleasant as possible for the cameras, some of them doing a better job than others. Reporters were asking the same standard set of questions that they usually do.
How do you feel about your upcoming game?
Can you describe the training you did to combat the other team’s strategy?
Did your last game give you any insight on things you should work on, both as a player and a team?
Some of the questions were getting rather repetitive, while there were a few good and original ones. Overall, you felt drained, and you weren’t even speaking. Internally sighing, you wondered why your dad even insisted that you attend this stupid event, and let your mind wander off into the distance.
“Excuse me, I have a few questions for the coach!” One reporter announced, their voice breaking through the sea of overlapping chatter. Capturing your father’s attention, he puts on his best smile as he nods in the direction of the reporter, “I’ll do my best to answer.”
Your mind did not register the exchange between the reporter and your father, your mind was now focused on the idea of coming home to the warm and comfy bed that awaited you, and how you were going to jump in it and snuggle up in its covers the MOMENT you came back home. However, you instantly noticed an energy shift when your father responded, “I’m sorry, may you please repeat that last question?” in a strict and very upset tone. Now focusing on the present moment, you sat up a little and noticed the way the team was looking at your dad. Some of them looked cautious and worried, others seemingly eager and interested in your father’s response, but there was a silent unease that befell the team nonetheless.
“I was asking,” the reporter started, your ears now listening intently as to not miss the question that seemed to offend your father, “that due to the claims that your assistant coach seems to have good chemistry with their teammates; would you allow them, as a coach and a father, to date anyone from the team?”
Once you register the weight of the words, you feel your face grow hot and warm as you awkwardly make eye contact with your father, and are oblivious to the hopeful looks that the team makes as you all watch your father carefully. You briefly think to yourself that you should speak up on this topic, leaning over to speak into the microphone in front of you to avoid the surefire embarrassment that is going to come, but your father beats you to it first.
“Well, if I had to answer that question…”
SUPA STRIKAS:
“- I’d say that I trust (Y/n) to make their own decisions,” Phillipe says with finality, glancing over at you with a soft smile.
Your shoulders fall as a tension that you weren’t aware of previously melts away, sharing his smile and tilting your head slightly in endearment at your father. Of course, you shouldn’t have felt worried about his response, he was Coach after all. A well-organized, self-disciplined, and rational man. It was only expected that he’d shut down such a ridiculous question with professionalism. At least, that’s what you thought until he added, “and I know my team respects me enough to NOT pursue them in any way, shape, or form.”
Despite wearing sunglasses, his eyes darted to each and every player, and the glint from his sunglasses spoke a silent warning. Making you roll your eyes and sigh as you lean towards the mic, “Of course, why focus on such trivial matters when we have a title to defend!”
A roar of cheers erupts as your attempt to redirect the conversation becomes successful. A few more questions later, and you’re soon released from the burden of being interviewed and able to climb onto your team’s personal sports bus. Your father stayed behind, something about wanting to finish up a few questions, and you could only hope he wasn’t trying to find that reporter.
“That interview was whack, wasn’t it?” North Shaw says as he sat right behind you. You chuckled tiredly and nodded, “Yeah, I certainly wasn’t expecting that. Did you see the look on my dad’s face?”
Snickers and chuckles were shared as you all recalled the memory.
“Yeah!” Cool Joe tittered, “Coach was NOT about that groove.”
The way he emphasized the word “not” was amusing to your sleepy brain, causing you to laugh and shoot him a smile. Unbeknownst to you, your smile made Cool Joe’s face warm up, and his eyes softened as a result. Shakes, who had been awkwardly leaning closer out of his spot to face you, gathered his courage to finally ask the question that had been weighing on his chest since that interview.
“But, uh, in all seriousness, (Y/N)...Coach said it was up to you, so…would you?” He stammered. You look back at him, your brows slightly furrowed in confusion, “Would I what?”
Deciding that there was no turning back now, Shakes pressed on, “You know…date someone from the team?”
Dumbfounded for the second time tonight, you and the rest of the team stare at Shakes out of pure shock for asking such a bold question. However, it isn’t long until all of their stares are directed at you. All of them felt their hearts pounding in their chest as you were only aware of the way your own heart throbbed, embarrassment evident by the way your hands were starting to sweat.
“O-Oh, um…Well, I don’t know…” You began.
“You don’t need to answer that, (Y/n),” Dancing Rasta assured gently in his thick accent. Shakes was quick to speak up, “Y-Yeah! I was just curious, you know? Sorry if I made you uncomfortable!”
You assure him that he is alright, that you understand it’s that stupid reporter who put it into everyone’s head. You make a half-joke, telling them that they’re the only people you interact with, and that it isn’t really that surprising to see why people were wondering.
“I mean, considering I’m on the team, it wouldn’t be very surprising if you have thought about it.~” El Matador teased in the same bravado as usual. Everyone laughed at his statement, Twisting Tiger and North teasing him about his narcissism, but you remained quiet. Quiet because you HAVE thought about it. After all, even though they had their quirks, that didn’t change the fact that they were all nice and decent guys for the most part. You also don’t think anyone else outside of the team would know you better than they do. When they realize that your laugh is absent from the chorus, they all turn to look at you again.
“Hey, you okay, (Y/n)?” Shakes asked. You look to the side, wondering if it would be weird if you told them the honest truth that you would like to date someone from the team. That you did have a special someone in mind.
“Actually, guys… I-” You stop yourself, your face felt like it was set on fire, and your heart felt like it was going 100 miles per minute. Each Striker holds their breath, even El Matador and the ever-silly Klaus have shut themselves up in anticipation.
“Please say you have,” they all think to themselves while you try to organize yourself, “please tell me I have a chance.”
“What’s going on here?” Coach’s deep voice breaks, and everyone tenses, all eyes now focused on him. The jumpy reaction makes Coach raise an eyebrow, “...Did I interrupt something?”
Not wanting him to catch on, you are the first to break the silence with an awkward laugh: “We were just talking about that one reporter in the front. The one with the weird haircut.”
Catching onto your cue, the rest of the team followed in agreement and chimed in with their opinions of a reporter that didn’t exist. While there was still skepticism in his eyes, your father shrugged and silently took the seat next to you. Soon, the typical conversations began to break out amongst everyone, but each of their eyes kept trying to make contact with yours, as if scanning for some invisible answer that you might like one of them back the same way they liked you. It all came to an end once the bus stopped at the base and one by one, each of them emptied out the bus, leaving only you and your adopted father. Who hadn't stood up to exit along with them, much to your confusion.
“About that reporter, (Y/n),” Your father began, causing you to internally panic, but you did your best not to show it,” I meant what I said. I trust you, and even if I might not be the happiest if you decided to date someone from the team, I believe you know what you’re getting into, and all I can ask is that you’re happy.”
His kind words made you happy, so much to the point that you could feel your eyes tear up, and you reached over to envelope him in a big hug.
“Thanks, Dad.” You grin. He nods as his own arms wrap around you to return the hug.
“...But that doesn’t mean they can start making passes on you and I expect you to let me know-”
“DAD!”
INVINCIBLE UNITED
“-I’d say that it would just simply be too unprofessional, besides, my assistant coach is much more focused on prepping our team rather than dating them,” Vince responds with a strained smile and venomous tone that poorly disguises itself as a pleasant one. Without skipping a beat, you tried to redirect the conversation, “Not to mention being busy preparing the new launch of Invincible United merchandise that fans can now buy to show their support in their upcoming game! Go, United!”
Throughout the rest of the interview, Vince glared daggers at the reporter every chance he got. You periodically had to elbow your adopted father and remind him to focus on the interview, oblivious to the looks that your team kept giving you. Some of them were smug, some held bashful expressions, and some of them were more calculating as they observed your flustered body language, scheming. When the end of the interview came, you were making sure to load up all of the players while your father “had a word” with a certain interviewer.
“Some pretty interesting questions today, right, (N/n)?” Skarra teased. You gave him a sharp look from the corner of your eye to let him know that you were NOT in the mood for his teasing, while also trying to will away the blush you could feel creeping onto your face. It seemed to have the opposite effect as he playfully held his hands in front of him in mock surrender.
“Well, I mean, Vince’s response wasn’t really a surprise. But, we’re all a little curious about what you would’ve said, (Y/n).~” Automatic snickered, as you did a headcount of all of them. You scoffed, “Then stay curious because I am not entertaining any of you.”
When you finally deemed all of them accounted for, you went back to the first row seat that you typically sat at. Falling into your seat, you leaned your head against the window as you prayed that these idiots would drop the whole thing and that this would be a quick bus ride. However, the sudden weight change in the seat next to you told you the opposite, as your face twitched in annoyance before sitting up and turning your head to face Dooma. His amused face contrasted with your annoyed one as he spoke in that deep octave of his, “Hi~”
“I can’t believe you’re all ganging up on me over this.” You grimace, however, Dooma laughs at how unintentionally cute your displeased face was. Skarra sat up in the seat behind you, “Hey, you’re the one draggin’ this out! If you just answered, we could’ve been done with this a long time ago.”
The bus rang out in agreement. Your annoyance grew by the minute as they agreed that the sooner you answered, the sooner they would let this go.
“Fine!” You hiss out, your tone eerily similar to the venomous one that Vince had earlier in the interview, “No! I wouldn’t date any of you on this team! You’re all a bit too comfortable with cheating, in my opinion.”
There is a moment of silence that fills the bus, causing you to exhale in relief. Believing that you had finally given them a satisfactory answer that would shut them up, you turned your head to stare back at the window.
“Hey, that is an entirely different type of cheating!” Skarra defended, finally breaking the silence, and a wave of outraged agreement joined him. You groaned and hung your head in defeat as you realized that this conversation was going to go on forever. Dingaan joined in, “Yeah, I’d never cheat on you, (Y/n)!”
The earnestness in his voice softened your heart as you shot him a gentle smile, “Well, I know you wouldn’t, Dingaan.”
Dingaan seemed to brighten up, his face a little red at how your soft tone was directed at him, but this only seemed to frustrate Skarra and Dooma more.
“How come you only trust him? I wouldn’t cheat on you!” Skarra frowned, crossing his arms over his chest. The sweet expression on your face is instantly replaced with the same irritated one you give Skarra, “Really? And give me one reason why I should believe that!”
“Well, I-...” Skarra interrupts himself, as if he just caught himself in time, and begins to stammer a bit in his words. Dooma glances at him before briefly glancing at Automatic, both of them having the same knowing smirk. You, however, are not in the know and have no idea what to think of the weird scene that was playing before you now.
“That’s what I thought.” You snapped back. Skarra glared at you, not as harshly as he did with other people, but it was hard to say what he wanted without admitting how much he liked you right there in front of the entire team. Dingaan tried to come to his defence, being as helpful as ever: “Aw, give him a break, (Y/n)! Skarra just doesn’t know what to say without telling you that he-”
The bald male gets cut off by a silent glare from Skarra. Having had enough of this, Dooma decides to speak again: “Look, why don’t you give us an honest answer, (Y/n)? Regardless of what Vince said, would you date someone from the team?”
You’re not sure how to explain it, but there was a change in the way he spoke; you wouldn’t describe it as pleading, but you swore you could hear whisps of desperation in his tone. As if he truly was dying to know if you would ever give any of these (endearing) losers a chance. Your mouth feels dry, and even as you continue to hold Dooma’s stare, you become hyperaware of all the eyes on you. Your body feels like it’s on fire, your heart is hammering against your chest as you awkwardly cough, “Well…I mean, if I had to, I guess-”
The sound of heavy footsteps cuts you off, and your eyes dart to the entrance of the bus. Vince, dusting off his suit after pushing his way through the crowd, looked around. Skarra lets out a loud groan and shrinks in his seat, “You couldn’t have given us, like, 5 minutes?”
Vince frowns and raises an eyebrow towards Skarra, only for his eyes to land on Dooma. Dooma responded with a nonchalant grin as he slowly got up from the seat next to you and went back to his assigned one. Vince watched intently before taking his seat next to you, silently side-eying you with a raised eyebrow, as if silently asking you what had happened before his arrival. You simply turn your head to the window, praying he couldn’t see your flushed expression in its reflection, or hear your pounding heart.
As each member exited the bus, you saw from the reflection that Skarra’s eyes were fixed on you as he walked out, and he muttered something that sounded like a “goodnight” under his breath. Dingaan happily waved at you, which you returned with a tired smile and a small wave of your own. Which seemed to displease Vince further for some reason. While Automatic gave you a subtle wink, Dooma was the one who made you feel even more embarrassed with his bold, “Sweet dreams, (Y/n).~”
As you followed closely behind your adopted father, you tried not to think too much about what had just happened. They were teasing you, their favorite thing to do was to tease you, and you can’t believe that you almost made a fool of yourself if Vince hadn’t come. If you had admitted that you personally wouldn’t mind dating a member of the team, they would’ve just used that to make fun of you, because they’re all jerks. Infuriatingly handsome jerks.

I love how Rasta protects Shakes. He has always been there to motivate the team and plays the parental role with or without coach being present . He is literally supa strikas dad🥺

“I’m worried, captain.” Shakes said quietly, watching his ex-best friend interacting with one of the new Silver Lions captains. “I don’t understand why they’re hanging around them so much. The Silver Lions are good people, but they might get hurt by them.”
Dancing Rasta sighed and shook his head. “Shakes, mon. You gotta let this go.” His captain said sternly. “We had our doubts about them before, including myself. But they've proven themselves to us. We can’t really question their decisions, dey know what they’re doing.”
“Yeah, but…” Shakes protested weakly before he looked back up, staying silent as let Trent’s deep-pitched laughter and Skarra’s snarky laugh fill the silence.
The older captain sighed deeply, before he stilled and glanced over his shoulder. He was still getting used to Oliver sneaking up on him without making a sound. Rasta still found it a bit unnerving considering his tall height and weight, but he never really thought to question it. Or felt like it was his place to ask.
Oliver moved his gaze from Rasta to the back of Shakes’s head, before tilting his head up to watch the scene before them. He hummed quietly, his left fingers tapping a rhythm on his prostheses that were crossed. As quiet as he was compared to his husband, excluding the rare time he actually spoke out against them, Rasta had come to understand what the tapping meant.
“What are you thinking, Oliver?” Dancing Rasta asked, lowering his voice so Shakes wouldn’t hear him.
Oliver let out a deep sigh before he uncrossed his arms and glanced down at the Supa Strikas captain. “You need to put a leash on that kid, Rasta.”
The comment made Rasta’s eyebrows shoot up. Any other time he would have defended the young striker, but he kept his mouth shut and gave a little nod towards Oliver to continue.
The Silver Lions captain returned the nod before moving his gaze back to Shakes, who had walked off to join his team a few seconds earlier. “I don’t say that lightly but it needs to be said. He’s already on Liam’s bad side in regards to the twins, and now I've heard from Fergus that he indirectly insulted Jill and their work, causing them to storm off and leave him in the mall.”
Dancing Rasta winced. “I’m guessing their time together didn’t work out.”
“Yes and no. I’m inclined to think that they both had a moment where they could relate to each other on the subject of history, but Jill did seem rather distraught after the interaction. It’s not like them to let something like that affect them.” Oliver let out another sigh, crossing his arms again. “All that is to say, Trent and I agree that Shakes needs to just…chill out for a while.”
The Supa Strikas captain let out a dry chuckle. “Dat’s gonna be harder than trying to separate him from his video game controller." He joked before he cleared his throat and his tone became serious. "But you're right. I'll talk about it with Coach, and see if we can do something about it. Find out what's causing him to act out more than usual."
The Silver Lions captain huffed but nodded. "That's an understatement." He said. Just before he stepped towards his team, he looked back at Rasta and his face softened. "Also...thank you, Dancing Rasta."
The midfielder captain blinked in surprise. "For what?"
"For being patient with me and hearing me out this time." Oliver turned back to him, hands in his jacket's pockets and his shoulders slumped. "I know I'm not always the best at conversations, nor am I...the best at being a participant. It's not the way a captain should be, I know, but...I'm not trying to make an excuse but I still appreciate the fact you are being patient with me after all this."
Dancing Rasta was quiet for a moment before he stepped closer to Oliver and placed a hand on his shoulder. "I should be thanking you, mon." Rasta said with a gentle smile. "You reminded me that people think and act differently, and that includes the captains of this league. Sure, you may not come off as the most open captain, but your observations about everyone and everything, things people don't see right away...I do appreciate that." His grip on shoulder faltered a little. "Especially since it helped me realize that something was going on with my team that I didn't even notice."
Oliver was a bit stunned by what the other captain said, but he reached up and gripped Rasta's hand that was on his shoulder. "Thank you." He said quietly, a genuine smile on his scarred face. "That really means a lot coming from you."
---------------
Okay so, this sketch wasn't supposed to be a continuation of this post, this was gonna be something else but I am struggling to get around to doing art stuff. Especially pull out the tablet to actually render stuff and whatnot.
Still, I hope you guys like this. In the past, I never really developed the relationship between Dancing Rasta and Oliver would be, during the time Oliver was the sole captain of the Lions. But I do feel like the two of them can get along in their own way. Even if Oliver is much more quieter than most captains, as Trent does more of the talking.
Really am gonna have to write down what I wanna do next, hmph. Me and my damn ADHD brain...

Rosie and Kaino's feelings and opinions on their teams !! (I'm very bad at writing, even though I used to run a writing blog)
(Rosie goes by she/it,while Kaino goes by she/they) (I'm gonna be really surprised if someone read all of it) (ALL PLATONIC except for Ja Nein,Tiger and Miko)
Tumblr media
Rosie:
Colonel Von Pushup:
At the start of her internship, she thought it was all smooth sailing, mostly because she applied for the internship to beef up her resume (and to impress her sis),and it so happens to be the fittest team in the Super League.
She barely had a lick of the military experience,so it was hard to get used to the freezing temperatures and drills at first, but she was surprised on how Colonel doesn't raise his voice at her much, unless it's when plans get ruined, etc. Yet even after all of that,it tries her best to help out the team in terms of strategies and plans.
She sees Colonel as a respectful and fierce coach, basically. Colonel sees her as a hardworking, motivated, and enthusiastic intern.
Uber:
Rosie found him..surprisingly easy yet a bit difficult to work with, even though both of them may disagree a lot. Both of them at least have mutual respect for one another.
She sees him as a brother figure and an infuriating one at that,it just gets annoyed at the pipsqueak comments he calls her and Ja Nein sometimes.
Since she's usually always apart of the plan (cheating basically) both of them have many disagreements,Uber wanting to take more of the physical way, while Rosie wants to follow through with Ja Nein's 'easier' way (as she calls it.) Uber mostly sees her as that annoying younger sister that gets away with anything, but it's usually 50/50 if it gets yelled at or not,he also calls it 'pipsqueak' alongside Ja Nein and the others too.
Rosie gets annoyed when she mumbles something under her breath, and Uber straight up reads her lips and says it out loud. (Half of those comments she mumbled were insults or small things she needed to remember to get.)
Ja Nein (JaRosie real..)
When Rosie was introduced to the team, she mostly had to work alongside him and take a lot of notes. One day, while working together,Rosie just randomly decided it was such a great time to talk about random topics it thought about in a millisecond. Ja Nein was randomly surprised and impressed about how she could talk a lot. He usually listens and nods along and gives a few comments if necessary. Rosie is also surprised when he knows how she's feeling.
Rosie and him usually get called 'pipsqueak' so many times by other teammates, but she doesn't mind unless it becomes too much, but for Ja Nein.. she doesn't know how he feels about it.
The reason why it likes him is that no one could ever stand her rants (except for Kaino, she lived with her for like 20 yrs and dealt with her yapping) So she was really happy that she could find someone to pour her thoughts out on. She tries to be obvious on her hints (but fails miserably). She randomly calls up Kaino for help even though she can't do much.
For Ja Nein,he finds her impressive in ways,he also doesn't mind her defending him in some situations where he gets made fun of,he also had a bit of fun when he got to tell her his experiences in Tactical Division. They joke around sometimes, but both of them get serious when needed to. His feelings are not very obvious since he usually is normal and doesn't spill loads of personal info with his teammates, and he would rather die than tell them he mayhaps fancy the intern. (But doesn't really care much about them, usually just pushes his feelings way back into his brain.)
Von Eye:
Von Eye and her don't have much of an opinion on eachother. But she definitely does have respect for him,and he also does.
They are the type of friends who avoid each other, but on some random day, they start talking about random stuff. Rosie once told him he looks like 'Mr.Clean' and that kept him awake for days. He thinks of her as an 'okay' person.
The situations that caused her to defend Ja Nein were mostly Thor and his doings. (HAVE YOU SEEN 'THE CRUNCH'?? Would not want to be Ja Nein in that scene, but he cool)
Thor
During 'Dat Boot' ,it maybe..maybe was the one that helped Thor out with his disguise even though he could manage through.
They see each other as people you can rely on,but not too much. Usually defends Ja Nein because of him and Von Eye.
She is also a hypeman for him whenever he's lifting weights. In 'Icy Grip', she surprisingly laughed a lot during that day,it was due to the jokes Uber randomly kept pulling out.
Kaino:
Coach
Has a lot of respect for him as an intern and sees him as a cool mentor figure she could learn so much from rather than the other clubs she tried to learn more from, but was shocked cheating was the main form of ways to win games.
She is randomly impressed by how wise and unpredictable Coach is, Coach just shrugs it off. She also is amazed by his teaching ways.
Coach sees Kaino as a person who has so much potential working directly for the team and hopes it could happen in the future.
Shakes
Kaino met Shakes and immediately clicked with him, both of them have the same interests and taste of games together.
Kaino usually gives commentary whenever Shakes plays a new video game with them. She also agrees when he says that SL 3000X sucks (it most likely does),she just doesn't like those retro pixelated textures..
They usually talk about random video games with different genres, subgenres, and whatsoever. Kaino sees Shakes as a person they can have fun with and not get judged for it. Usually, it's because Shakes takes her game recommendations a little too seriously.. Shakes sees them as a reliable intern and a good friend to hang with.
Dancing Rasta
They have the same level of mutual respect for eachother.
Kaino's reason is that they think he's the literal embodiment of leadership for the team, and she's super impressed by his moves on the field.
Rasta thinks of her as a witty and sharp person to be around,he always asks for suggestions whenever they haven't thought about a game plan yet. Kaino feels appreciated since her ideas are actually looked at instead of looked down upon.
Cool Joe
Cool Joe tries to make them listen to more music suggestions rather than EDM or Indie pop she usually listens to.
He tries to get them in the old classics, but Kaino always declines. But both of them jam out to the same type of rock.
He sees her as a cool music consumer, while Kaino thinks of him as a sick musician and a cool player with cool moves on the field.
Klaus
Would you be shocked if I'd say they would get along? Kaino has mostly been called awkward her whole life,so being friends with Klaus isn't that bad to them.
They like alien theories, and they usually talk to each other about it. She also reads Inspector Von Spector a lot too. But she doesn't want to admit to Klaus that they like Croccie the Smile-Dile.
Both of them have really weird senses of humour. She's usually the one laughing at his jokes even when no one is laughing. (Why are they so besties core?!?!?!)
El Matador
'Wow, flashy and flamboyant guy,he's so uncool to the point it makes him cool' was the first thought that came to Kaino's mind.
They usually agree with each other whenever it's a situation that you can probably never fix, otherwise, both of them are literally disagreeing with each other in the nicest way possible. (Which is Coach trying to listen to their side of the story without both of them interrupting each other)
But otherwise,I guess El Matador would admit he has respect for the intern,Kaino.. would rather not admit her respect for him until the end of her internship. (She still cares about him a lil tho) (Why r they so siblings)
North Shaw
He keeps speaking in so much surfer dude slang to the point Kaino accidentally picks up on it.
He thinks of her as a 'tubular' intern. Kaino just thinks he's very laid-back and a cool guy. They hope that he can teach her how to surfboard properly without falling off the board 15 seconds into standing on it.
She tries so hard to understand the slang he says out of nowhere to the point North thinks her brain's slowly melting whenever he talks. (Weird saying, but that's quite accurate) Overall, they are broheims ! (North said it)
Blok
She cannot understand him,but they try! And Blok feels happy that a temporary employee would do that.
She sees him as a huge softie on the inside, and a great player. She can't really come to him for advice,so that might be a problem.
Kaino tried to teach herself Brislovian but failed so badly to the point Blok would try to guide her through the words. They manage to understand a few words that come out of Blok's mouth, and Blok is so proud that they are trying.
He shows them Brislovian Techno, and Kaino immediately loves it. Mostly because of the loud beats.
Luckily, she doesn't get called out by Cool Joe for not using headphones, she just wears earbuds. She listens to more tracks, and whenever a new song releases,Blok tries to suggest Kaino to listen to it. Blok describes her as a kind and well-motivated person.
Big Bo
Kaino and Big Bo usually talk about books and some random book topics.
They actually have the most knowledgeable conversations out of nowhere. Kaino likes being able to talk to him while thinking a lot,so their conversations let her take their mind off some stressful things. He gives her some really good advice somehow?? And Kaino appreciates it a lot.
He just hopes that he doesn't overexert herself since she's a bit too young to be stressed out.
Twisting Tiger (TwistKaino is what I decided on yippeee!!)
Kaino originally was a huge fan of Tiger, even before he joined Supa Strikas. She feels a bit comfortable with him since they know each other a lot.
They match their going-out outfits a lot.(as you can see in the art I made for them..) Kaino usually feels a bit embarrassed since she doesn't feel like she deserves to be friends with him. But he always reassured her whenever that happens.
After the Super League, both of them go on vacation to visit Miko and go sightseeing and trying food that they've never had in a long time. He really enjoys spending time with Kaino.
When Kaino finds out they like him,she panics and pushes her feelings down into her brain. She would honestly rather not let anyone know but still tells it anyways. Currently,Shakes is the only person she's told. Since she would rather not tell Klaus, since he would spill it immediately.
Tiger only realises his feelings when he looked back on how many times she helped him out when things got sticky. He mostly kept his feelings to himself and never told anybody.
Tiger thinks of Kaino as calm, reliable, and everything positive in a person. Kaino also thinks that of him, too.
(+Bonus!)
John J. Johnson Jr. (Rosie's platonic soulmate !! And best friend!!!)
They met through the Super League meet ups, they immediately clicked by how much they relate to eachother.
Jr. thinks of her as a really cool girl, while Rosie thinks of him as an also really cool guy! They can't describe eachother properly, but atleast they're descriptions about eachother are the same..?
Rosie is awfully concerned about how he has 20 copies of his card, but it makes sense. She throws all the copies of his cards to him whenever she gets like..5 of him in each pack she buys whenever she gets the chance to visit him.
She also finds him weirdly relatable in a way.
Miko Chen (MikoKai...Kaino's other s/o!!)
They met through Tiger, Safe to say that Miko finds her nice to be around. He likes the way she thinks.
Miko talks to her through phone calls and face times whenever they want to talk to eachother. Miko also makes Kaino feel really appreciated and wanted. Which Kaino is really grateful for.
Miko thinks of her as a person he could always count on and a person he would always be there for. Safe to say,the feeling is mutual for both parties, they're just scared to admit that to eachother. (TRUSTT!!)
I LOVED WRITING THIS SO MUCH!! BUT IM REALLY HAPPY IF YOURE CURRENTLY READING THIS AND MANAGED TO READ ALL THE WAY!!
