Both you and your significant other have been dating for a few months in the Pride Ring. It honestly came out of nowhere, but the both of you were content with each other. Since the relationship was brand new, there were still some things the both of you didn't know a whole lot about the other, maybe some favorite foods and fashion choices, but nothing more than that. The both of you would communicate and want to learn more about the other, but not to the point it made the other uncomfortable.

One afternoon, they were heading over to your room to bring you a snack from the kitchen, since it has been a while since they last saw you. Upon coming closer to your room, sounds of music could be heard from the other side. The door was slightly cracked, allowing them to peak through it. Looking through, their eyes widen at the sight of you, performing a very alluring dance routine.

🦌"My my, quite an impressive talent." Alastors gazed at you with smouldering eyes, smile widening at the sight of you.

🦌He had found you very shy and sweet when he first met you, causing him to drop his guard around you, as it would hurt his soul to treat you like he treated the others.

🦌Now he came to discover this side of you, and his heartbeat was skyrocketing. Never has he seen someone move so sensually before since his time in hell. Some of the moves you did cause some confusion as he was from 1900s, so he was more familiar with the Charleston or the Jitterbug.

🦌Your dance routine had come to an end, as Alastor saw you paused the music from your radio. Alastor had opened the door wide to your room, and began to clap his hands, honoring your little performance, causing you to jump in shock.

🦌"Bravo, my dear!" Alastor was smiling widely, as he made his way towards you, while your face was flushed pure red, having realized that Alastor was watching you the whole time. Alastor was right in front of you, head tilted at you. "What is wrong, darling?".

🦌Your broke out of your thoughts at Alastors question, looking to the side, twirling your hair with your fingers. "N-nothings wrong. Just..um..did you see all of that?" You hesitantly asked. Alastor chuckled at your question, leaning his head down further towards yours, making you turn even redder.

🦌"HAHA! Every bit of it, my dear! You never mentioned to me that you had an amusing talent like this." You kept looking down to the floor, twiddling your fingers. "Oh, I always loved dancing when I was younger, so I self taught myself certain moves and went from there." A hand made its way towards your chin, causing you to turn your face up towards Alastor, as he was gazing at you with desire.

🦌"It was very enchanting to watch. I wouldn't mind requesting a private show from you in the near future. Possibly in my chambers perhaps?" His finger traced your lips, as the static from his voice dissipated, letting you know he was being serious. Shivers spread through your body, and you felt like you could melt right now with how Alastor was looking at you.

🦌Nodding your head, you told Alastor you wouldn't mind doing that. Chuckling, Alastor leaned closer, placing a small kiss on your forehead. "Lovely~. Now, my dear. If you wouldn't mind, can I teach you some moves from my era? I'm sure you will enjoy it!"

🕷Your heart skipped a bit as you continued to stare at Angel. Smiling, you lifted one of your hands to place it against his own, muttering a "thanks." Angel smirked and began to pull you towards him. He sat on the bed, positioning your body to sit on his lap. "Would love to have you teach me some of those moves. Whatcha think toots? Would you mind being my teacher? I'll be a really good student, trust me." Smirking, you leaned closer, giving Angel a kiss, before pulling back "Sure."

I’m not a big Taylor Swift fan at all in fact I only know like two of her songs and I am a millennial. I’m born the year after Taylor but I do know of her work and her artist history and I do believe she’s very talented. she’s talented because she’s a good songwriter, but she’s also talented at reinventing herself Wasn’t so much I don’t believe all artists do it to some degree even though heavy metal artist that’s not forget people like Pantera, massive group heavy metal, reinvented them at the beginning they were Glamrock and then when Phil anselmo, join the fold they got rid of the whole Glam thing that dime bag had going on.

I have put two of the artist who I think I’ve best at doing this trick which is Rihanna and Christina Aguilera. Christina did it going good go gone by originally before in the early 2000s and the late 90s, because she had to market herself in a completely different way to Brittany like a lot of girls did in the 90s she was like right I have to be the bad girl now, and I feel like you see this lady marmalade, her dress with her hair make up, have fun too. Don’t get me wrong and Brittany is amazing dancer but her ear is once so change as Christine and Rhianna.,

Beyoncé from Destiny’s Child(with all the God knows how many trust me I know all the members I was a huge fan. It was one of my first autism sessions so I know it was Latvia Latoya Farah and Michelle., and then Farrell left and it was just Michelle and it was 3, definitely the best of this was for another great person and I didn’t even think putting in this category with Michael Jackson. He had the best selling album of all time with thriller the first album which was disco off the wall., R&B , BAD pop mixed with R&B, DANGEROUS POP ROMANTIC AND ROCK,

But: 💃 and also 💗 - where did the inspiration for Broken Glass come from? Mostly how you decided on Delores’s story and her background and how you chose to intertwine it with Elvis’s. (His story in this is breaking my heart a little more than a little 🥹).

Hiiiii my darlin’ dearest!! 💗 These are awesome questions!

💃🏼 Okay, random fact time! I have performed in all my singing, dancing, and acting glory for hundreds of people and have a Bachelor’s degree in Theater! I also was a dancer from the time I was two until about 24. Honestly feels like lifetime ago though, tbh lol. The funny thing is I get immense stage fright singing in front of people UNLESS I am doing so as a character, in which case I’m waaaayyyy less nervous. Like I was the lead in shows and would do just fine but ask me to sing karaoke and I literally shake all the way through. 😂😩 Also lol to being the shy introvert that comes alive when playing make believe. I suppose in some ways writing is a similar outlet…I’ve always loved stories and studying character, so they kind of go together (hence my double major in English!).

💗 So, Broken Glass…Dolores is very personal to me and she is based directly on a family member of mine who was a nurse around that time in NYC. And I’m not gonna lie, I have some distant family ties to the mafia 😬, so she was closer to that (though not nearly to the extent I’ve brought it to in BG—there was no evil Gianni or arranged marriage or anything like that for her. Her father wasn’t really in the mob). She also was not a fan of E then though (that Ricky Nelson line is real lol).

One day after talking with her I just thought, hey, wouldn’t it be cool if she’d met Elvis during that time period? How would that come about and why? And I am endlessly fascinated (and saddened) by E’s health history and she and I have talked about that together, and I wondered what it might have been like or how things might have changed for him if they’d understood/diagnosed him earlier in his life. I also think it humanizes him, which might be jarring for some and endearing for others.

And I love my tropes! So in comes the slow burn, the fake relationship with a semi-enemies to lovers bent, some hurt/comfort (and don’t worry—I have more fun in store!). I also love the idea of two people from different backgrounds being able to relate to each other through similar experiences and traumas. And if PS has taught us anything, i love my angst! 😂 Thus, Broken Glass was born!
