Never in my wildest dreams that I get to take this photo with him with the whole Mabinay as our background. This wasn’t planned. At all.

But this one’s planned: January, my mom asked me if I want to go with them (parents) to their alumni homecoming at their alma mater — the same Bible School he graduated from — on April. That was months before he started doing efforts of getting my attention through chats, out of nowhere.

And so I went. We only exchanged messages a month prior the homecoming, but I never told him I’m going. I don’t want him to feel that I like him (too. lol).. yet. He’s so torpe. I know his close friends could say that. Even in the whole event, he never talked to me! Or even started a light conversation. He. Never. Did. I even told myself “how can’t he make such effort?” but later on I thought it’s alright. He said it would get the attention of a lot of people since we’re both known to most of them. And I agreed.

We never talked during the homecoming, not until I was asked to play the keyboard and he’s facilitating the multimedia. I don’t know the songs and he’s the nearest and the best person to ask aside from the leader, I said “Ano ang mga songs, manong?” HAHAHAHA. I know. I’ve been teasing him that he’s just my older brother and I loved calling him that. But the person that he is, he called me manang too. 😅

He would send me messages in between sessions.

See? Chatting me and all but not making effort to talk to me face-to-face. Mka-grrrr kaayo! But at least.. sang last night kay gin kamusta ya lang ko like... kamustahanay lang sang kamot. 😆

During the last night too I was expecting my PK friends (who are his second cousins) to attend. They made it but sadly it rained so much that night, naabtan na lang nila ang end part sang program and we got to meet after the program na. So we were making chika about this and that but they don’t know that their cousin is making damoves na to me. Hahahaha. We were standing in a footwalk, exchanging convos, when Zerne had to pass that way too to go to the dorm. So wala siya kawala, he had to be polite. Lol. He had to shake my hands again and all the other people there, his cousins still unaware what’s happening on the other side of the world. 😆

He went on. While his cousins and I were talking, they are encouraging me not to go home yet. That I’ll sleep nalang sa ila balay. Since it is Labor Day the next day, a holiday, which means no work for them and a good chance to bond. WALA NI YA SA PLANO. As in! That they even had to come with me and ask permission from my parents if I could stay the night with them and just go home after lagaw.

For the record, I didn’t tell Zerne what we’re going to do the next day. I didn’t update him whatsoever like duh. We’re just nothing that time. Hahaha. And I really wanted to bond with his cousins — my friends, without him tani. Kay basi panumdumon nila nga gin kadto ko to si Zerne nga indi man siya ang rason. XD little did I know. He knew. Maybe his cousins or his cousin’s boyfriend, I don’t know who told him but he did know. Surprisingly but not so much (lol), the next day, early morning, he was there too. And the rest is history.

This is manang Je right here, his cousin, a very welcoming friend. Love her to bits!

I’d like to think na isa ka dun sa mga nagviview na hindi ko friends sa stories ko. Minsan pinapaniwala ko na lang yung sarili ko na binabantayan mo pa rin ako, na interesado ka pa rin sa mga nangyayari sakin, na may pakeelam ka pa rin. Kasi diba sabi mo mahal mo ako. Sabi mo di mo ako makakalimutan. Prinepreserve ko yung memory ko sayo dun sa panahong mahal mo ako, na may pakeelam ka sakin kasi ayaw kong mawala yun sa isip ko. Kaya kahit na alam ko naman deep inside na hindi mo naman nakikita yung stories ko, na hindi mo naman to nabubuksan at binabasa yung entries ko dito, pinipili ko pa ring isipin na hindi kasi ayaw kong magtampo at magalit sayo. Gusto ko sa utak ko at sa puso ko, ikaw pa rin yung bb at Ardee ko na mahal ako.

Bb ang daming nangyari sakin these last couple of days. Umuwi yung mga pinsan ko, umuwi yung mga tita ko at umuwi sila mama at papa. Kakauwi lang din naman from Samar. Ang dami nangyari. Masaya. Nag-enjoy naman ako. But you never left my mind. Always, as in always, naiisip kita. Pag may nakakatawa, iisipin ko “ay matatawa si ardee nito pag kinuwento ko” or pag may duma-damoves sakin ikaw ang una kong gusto kong pagsumbungan. Bb lalong lalo na pag may kinakain akong masarap hehe ikaw lagi kong iniisip. I miss you bb. I miss you so much.

Ilagay ko dito yung pictures namin sa Samar para if ever man, haha, if by miracle you decide na buksan tong site na to, you’d see din ano nangyari dun.

PART 1

Si mama ang kasama ko papunta kasi si papa hindi nakasama. Pumunta agad sya ng Isabela kasi namatay yung tito ko- biyenan nya (asawa ng kapatid nya), kaya hindi sya nakasama.

Nagpareserve kami ng seats sa van express tapos ang sinabing name ko ay name ko. Pero ang spelling nila ng name ko ay “Amizon” 😂😂😂

Una naming ginawa pag dating namin ay mamalengke hahaha. Nautusan kami ng matatanda to buy vegetables dahil gusto nila ng pinakbet. We stayed at a relative’s house. Sobraaaaang ganda ng bahay nila. Wala nga lang akong pic di ako nakapag pic.

Nag-inom at nag-laro kami ng cards magpipinsan that night. Ang saya hehe. I kept on thinking about you and how fun it would be if you were there as well playing and drinking with us.

Next day was bisperas na ng fiesta. We visited an island i forgot what it was called tapos dun kami nag lunch at nagsimba. We ate a looooot. Ang sarap ng seafoods. Wala akong pictures kasi anndun sa phone ni Dara lowbat ako eh haha.

We also met this suuuuper cute puppy huhuhu sobrang nice nya. Such a good boi and super sweet at walang pakeelam kahit pangiggilan ko hahaha ❤️

How to flirt discreetly with your crush, the “Accountancy way”

Paano nga ba lumandi kay crush with your dignity still intact? Here are some ways that may or may not help you strike a conversation with your crush, the "BSA-way."

#1: Peram calcu bes

Alam naman natin na bilang isang BSA student ay gamitin talaga ang mahiwagang calcu. You know naman, tadtad tayo ng problems. Iwan na ang lahat, 'wag lang si calcu.

So when a time comes, you can use this as an alibi to talk with your beloved *ehem* crush.

Lapitan mo lang siya sabay sabing “uy may extra calcu ka? Peram naman, kailangan lang sa quiz mamaya. Balik ko nalang later. Salamat!” sabay pa-cute nang onti. Oha! After nito, p'wede mo siyang yayain kumain, s'yempre libre mo, to give thanks to him/her. Nakausap mo na si crush, may instant date pa kayong dalawa! Pak!

#2: Teach me senpai

Alam naman natin na karaniwan ay mahirap ang accounting subjects na tine-take nating mga BSA. Pero look at the brighter side! Maaari mo itong gamiting dahilan para duma-moves kay crush.

Simple lang naman ang dapat gawin. Lumapit kay crush, (relax ka lang bes, 'wag mas'yado pahalata at sabihing, "pwede ba magpaturo sa *insert accounting subject you like*, mejo nahihirapan kasi ako, e. Kung okay lang naman sa 'yo," with a smile ;))) Oha #GalawangHokage 

Tapos after that, yayain mo rin siyang kumain, your treat of course, bilang pasasalamat, just like sa naunang example. Bahala ka na kung ano pang ibang strategy ang maaaring i-apply basta dapat tuloy-tuloy ang ligaya!

Natuto ka na, naka-da-moves ka pa. Win-win situation, bes.

#3: Ask a question

S'yempre sa course natin madalas ang assignments. Sandamakmak na homeworks. Kaiyak, 'no? Pero it's okay! There's always a way to make everything seem okay.

So kung may nalimutan ka or 'di naintindihan regarding your homeworks, use this as a way para makausap si crush.

Don't be shy! It's your time to shine. Just pm/ask her. You can say something like "hey, ano nga ulit 'yung assignment?" or "ano nga ulit gagawin sa assignment? Saan ilalagay?" and the like. Then voila! You can now have a conversation with your crush. Diskarte mo nalang kung paano pahahabain ang usapan niyo.

#4: Let me be your tutor

Kung sakaling nahihirapan si crush regarding sa isang topic, maaari mo siyang turuan para dagdag pogi/ganda points. S'yempre, dapat gets mo talaga 'yung topic. Mahirap na. Baka mas maalam pa pala sa 'yo 'yung tuturuan mo, nakakahiya bes. Hahaha. P'wede mo siyang ayain sa bahay niyo. May possibility rin na ikaw ang yayain niyang pumunta sa kanila. O 'di ba. Mas makikilala mo siya through this way.

Note: You can use this technique kung "friends" na kayo ni crush, meaning, close na kayo, para 'di ka magmukhang FC. Kung 'di pa naman kayo ganu'n ka-close, p'wede rin naman. Basta easyhan mo lang, bes. Pasimple ka lang, okay?

#5: Tara, aral tayo!

P'wede mo ring yayain si crush na mag-aral ng subjects niyo. Mas okay kung kayong dalawa lang magkasama para feel na feel mo ang moment. Pero kung 'di pa kayo gaanong close, p'wede rin namang mag-group study nalang kayo. Ayos din ito para gumanda ang image mo sa kaniya at sa mga barkada niya. S'yempre, iisipin niyang isa kang responsableng mag-aaral dahil dito. Plus pogi/ganda points, which will result to more chances of winning his/her heart <3

#6: Pa-share bes

As a BSA student, 'di mawawala 'yung makakapal nating books na nagsisilbing sandata natin sa bawat giyerang ating kinakaharap.

Kaya naman...

Kapag naiwan mo 'yung libro mo, just ask him/her to share/lend his/her book with you. Mas epektib 'to kung seatmates kayo. Pramis. Imagine niyo nalang ;)))))

#7: Peram review materials

Bukod sa mga libro, dapat may may iba pa tayong review materials. 'Di ka mabubuhay sa course na 'to kung 'di ka resourceful.

Maaari mong gamitin ang technique na ito kapag nalalapit na ang exams/quizzes ninyo. Or kahit sa simpleng araw lang, basta natripan mong mag-aral. S'yempre, don't forget to thank your crush! ;)

#8: Tara sa recto

Every sem, sandamakmak na libro ang binibili nating mga BSA. Dumadayo pa nga tayong recto para makamura. S'yempre, praktikal lang tayo. Ang mamahal kaya ng books! 'Yung iba umaabot ng 800+php 'yung original. Grabehan lang, 'di ba. Nakaka-stress na nga 'yung course mo, mapapagastos ka pa.

Kapag ganitong panahon na, p'wede kang dumiskarte sa crush mo. Ask him/her "pwede ba ako/kaming sumabay sa inyo sa pagbiling mga libro sa recto?" something like that. S'yempre kadalasan isang grupo kayong pupunta dun. Mas marami kayong bumibili at bibilhing books, mas malaki madi-discount niyo.

Tapos ganito bes. Pasimple kang tumabi sa kaniya sa bus/jeep/LRT on the way sa pupuntahan niyo. Chikahin mo na rin. Kung wala kang mai-topic, magandang convo starter ang struggles niyo sa accounting subjects niyo. Malay mo, maging (mas) close kayo after nito.

#9: Kopiko 78 degrees

Isa pang sandata ng mga BSA students ay ang kape! Coffee keeps us wide awake at night while we study for our exams. So usually, mahihilig talaga tayong mga BSA sa kape. You can ask him/her to have some coffee with you, of course, your treat. Pero kung 'di mo afford, p'wede namang KKB. Hahaha. Alamonaman tayo, mejo kuripot.

#10: Be active

S'yempre, dapat 'di lang puro acads, bes. Sumali ka rin sa mga extra-curricular activities sa school niyo. Join some competitions on your school programs. Sumali ka, mapa acad or non-acad pa 'yan. Tulad na lamang ng General Assembly (ng inyong local chapter/region), o kaya sa Sportsfest! S'yempre, sumali ka kung nasaan si crush.

Epektib 'to, pramis! Nakasali na ako sa scrabble competition na ginanap sa university namin nitong nakaraan lang. Actually, 'di ko alam na kasali pala si (ex)crush 'dun. Hahaha. Ayun. Naging magka-team pa kami. Naka-usap ko siya. And more <3 Quotang-quota ako mga bes! Bonus pa na nanalo kami. Ang saya lang. Tapos nakasama ko na rin siya last year sa isang quizbee na ginanap sa ibang university. 'Di ko pa siya crush nun. 'Di kami nanalo pero ang saya lang ng experience :)

Ilan lang iyan sa mga paraan na maaari mong gamitin para (mas) mapalapit kay soon-to-be forever mo. Kung may nais kayong i-suggest or idagdag, maaari niyo akong i-pm. Char.
