exactly its my issie with them doing those readings so much is it makes it seem like thats who they only going to be with and thus it must be 100% accurate and it doesnt even take into consideration what the idol then wants in a relationship or partner or if they even want that to begin with cause some might be more into hooking up or just being single... we dont really know unless the idol is asked themselves what they want in a partner first.

Though I will say I think foreigners are brought up so much because people either A. Want to at least be able to fantasize about being their fave’s FS, or B. At least want the FS to be from their country.

And I agree a FS isn’t a good representation foe what you want. Hell, it’s kind of like American football coaches. They’re married. But they don’t KNOW their wives. That’s why they all get divorced after retirement. So it was 12 months ago when I had given up on love.

I didn’t think that I would find someone who would treat me like a human being.

Part of me didn’t think anyone would come by see all of the shattered pieces of my heart and soul scattered on the ground around me, and pick them up.

Part of me thought that one day maybe one day the world would work in my favor for once.

Pessimism followed by optimism.

What a fucking clichè right?

Well, one day, after I had given up hope, after I had stopped looking, I came to a sort of peace with being alone.

I had gotten used to that.

It’s was my new normal.

One winter day, in Cleveland, Ohio, my best friend and I were at a concert for that jazz group everyone used to watch on Facebook, they used to perform in subway tunnels in New York, or Chicago, or wherever.

They were a pretty normal group of three guys, until one day someone, the right someone, found them and they made a show.

Well anyways, we went to see that little unknown jazz group in Cleveland, Ohio.

At 7:00 intermission began between the opening act and that small unknown jazz group, and I pulled out my phone.

I began to scroll through tinder, wow hey look another clichè, didn’t think you knew where this was going right?

But I pulled out my phone and tapped that app, and was swiping.

These are the days I got to see you over the first year of our relationship.

I didn’t see you in January because we started talking on January first, I didn’t see you in February because you lived in Akron and I lived in Powell.

2 hours away from each other.

We spent every night talking, texting, FaceTiming, and for a period of time talking on video chat only on Snapchat.

Not going to lie I thought it was weird that we only talked on Snapchat for a bit of time, but looking back at it now I would of had it any other way.

We went from seeing each other pence a month, to a few times, to a few weekends, to every weekend, to now every day.

Almost exactly a year after we first met, and you’re five feet across the hall from me.

We both go to the same university now, so we don’t need to plan out the times we can go see each other.

We wake up next to each other every morning, we have study dates, and coffee dates, and we do all of the normal thing that non-ldr couples do.

I’ve got you and you’ve got me.
