y'all I didn’t forget my fankids I just wanna post about them after grad cuz I got a shitload of sketches in my notes that I need to find and post lol

the funny thing is the reason I came back from a massive burnout was because I finished a few sketches and notes from 2021 and 2022 (one of which was correcting some information on my fankid MayMay Jona’s sketch) and I watch a video about Archie sonic

I kid you not one of my fankids was inspired by Sally Acorn (Satam and Pregenesis wave)

there is so much resemblance I’m even gonna post about that too

#damn I can feel my inner kid scream with excitement bc I was a huge sonic fan who googled lore and everything #also I was on DA when I was def not suppose to in late 00's to 2013 til I found tumblrwhen I def wasn't even suppose to be here #maybe 2014 before I got into hs #omggg I found so much sonic fan comics and read so much of it too omgggg I read them on my bn nook tablet #I even bookmarked them and everything #hahaha damn what a throwback shittt #yea so that Archie sonic video throw me right back to drawing thinking about it is hilarious #I remember coming across old DAs' of artists who worked on the comic and remembered their art styles and the evolution of their craft #don't get me wrong I still love their artwork and even remember them by name and everything they made my childhood #and for that I still hold them dearly and I'm happy that Sega employed them
