🎂 SPECIAL BIRTHDAY FEATURE! 🎁 Meet: @therealslimschumie In August of 2017 I was diagnosed with PCOS. Upon receiving that diagnosis I knew change had to happen. In December of 2017 I had the vertical sleeve gastrectomy and have lost a total of 185 lbs. this journey has been so much more than physical. It has been mental, spiritual and emotional. I still would like to loose 40 more lbs but I am happy that I have the wlstories community to keep me motivation and accountable. This community has given me so much- more than I could ever even fathom. Starting tip: start working on the mental health side of your journey now. Once your coping mechanism is no longer available to you it you are forced to grow into new ways of dealing! • How has the Wlstories community influenced your journey? Answer: It’s the most important thing in my life outside of my husband, my family and my close friends. It has given me hope to continue when I feel like I can’t show up for myself.
