Many different types of people use mental imagery techniques to become stronger, happier, and more effective!⁣ ⁣ 🌟 Be the star, not the audience. 🌟⁣ And Practice, Practice, PRACTICE!⁣ ⁣ When you can repeatedly imagine performing a task, you also condition your mind so that the action feels familiar when you go to perform it. The most effective imagery involves all five senses. You should be so immersed in a mental image that it seems as if it is actually happening. 💥MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY FEATURE 💥It's hard for me to find words to truly describe how I feel when I see the stage shots that @japhoto70 took at the #dallaseuropa . I never truly saw myself as a figure competitor, until NOW. I remember feeling so defeated when I was told by IFBB Head Judge Sandy Williamson that I didn't belong in the bikini division, because I truly loved bikini, I almost just didn't even want to compete anymore. However, I was able to overcome my feelings of defeat and leave my comfort zone to enter into an entirely different division. Figure prep was ALOT harder for me, and the posing isn't as easy as it looks either. But! I did IT! And I couldn't be anymore proud of myself! This sport and the people you meet along the way is just truly inspiring, and I am grateful to be a part of this industry!!
