• Dallas would be so different when it's just the two of you. He is so soft and gentle, always wanting to be close to you but never being whiny about it. • His hands always have to be touching a part of you, whether that's an arm around your waist when you're out with the gang or his hands under your shirt when you cuddle. • Speaking of cuddling, Dally would never admit to being addicted to being in your arms or you being in his. It would simply ruin his tuff facade.

• However, especially at the start of the relationship, Dally would act like he has no clue who you are. He would easily walk past you and not even give you a glance. • This continued for a while until you got caught up with some of the socs who lived down your street, they were following you and hollering sexual insults at you, trying to see if you could help them get "busy". • Dallas just so happened to be waiting outside the school for you so he could watch you walk past and then catch up with Pony and he saw what trouble you were in. • At first, he stayed well away from you, on the other side of the street with Ponyboy, just watching to make sure you got home safe. • Then one of the socs made a huge mistake by lifting up your skirt and trying to take a peek, his friends all laughing along. • You had never seen Dally so angry in the years you had known him. He was practically purple in the face and you were sure that if life was a cartoon, he'd have smoke coming out of his ears. •Safe to say that Dally never left your side whenever he was out with you and if he heard that you had been walking alone, you'd have your ear chewed off by him the next time you saw him.

• He would definitely blush whenever you call him handsome and although you may not agree, he LOVES when you say that he's pretty. • He definitely gets a little insecure sometimes, especially when he's in the cooler but you know that's just because Sylvia fucked him over so many times. • When he gets out, he hugs you so tight and asks you so many questions about what you've been up to without him and how you must have been "so bored" with him not there. • He also gets a little insecure about how you could leave him for a soc, someone like you, someone who could buy you anything you want (I mean he steals whatever you want but that's not the point).

• Your parents were definitely against the two of you dating for the first two or three months, always telling you that he would break your heart or get you into serious trouble. • Eventually, after what felt like an eternity of convincing them that he was a good guy, they finally allowed him over to the house. • They wanted to meet this supposedly amazing Dallas Winston you kept banging on about before they made their final judgement. • He was surprisingly polite; didn't smoke in front of them; took his shoes off so he "didn't ruin the carpet" • After that, your mom loved him and was constantly asking when he was next coming over. • But don't you think for one minute that your door is allowed to be fully closed, if your dad can't fit his head through the gap then you're both in serious trouble.

• Despite all of this sappiness and love, Dally is still the tuffest guy you know.
