Note(s): Oh Kuze and Awano, those bastards. I'm happy to write this though! I am also currently playing Yakuza 4 (I don't have 3 on the list because I really wasn't as into it as I am with the other ones I've played).

Awano

Awano finds the idea of you street racing to be very very attractive and he’ll gladly tell you that constantly.

If he’s not busy with his business then he’ll gladly attend. Hell, he might have one of his guys attend as well, give you some friendly competition. So don’t disappoint him.

Awano really doesn’t mind you street racing at all. Sure it’s dangerous, but he knows you wouldn’t go and get yourself killed.

Would make bets with you too. Just bets on if you win or about shortcuts to take or just timing how long it takes you to finish. Makes these bets to add another element to your street racing and see how reckless you’re willing to be.

Kuze

Every night before you go out, he makes sure to tell you “don’t die”. That’s just his way of telling you to be careful.

Probably has some of his men go to watch your street racing stunts just to make sure you’re safe. 

If you tell him you don’t need him watching over you then he’ll just laugh and say that you really can’t stop him.

Doesn’t really care about you street racing. He joined the Yakuza to beat people up, so you street racing is just your way of beating others to make yourself stronger than the rest. Or that’s how he sees it and you have respect for that.

Awano, Kuze, and Shibusawa babysitting Dojima’s teenage daughter who keeps running off, often found with Kiryu?

-The three of them are quite pissed off about it. This is certainly not their job.

-Kuze is particularly vocal about it. “We are yakuza, not fucking babysitters.” He still tags along because a)It is a direct command from Dojima and b)He is in if he gets the chance to fight Kiryu.

-Awano is quite vocal about it too, but not as much as Kuze. He mostly is telling Kuze to “Shut the fuck up, complaining ain’t gonna do the job more enjoyable.”

-Shibusawa just sighs. He feels like not only he has to take care of you, but of the two other men too.

-Just picture the three of them spying on you beind a bush, with a pair of binoculars the three of them are fighting to use.

-Shibusawa will have to take Kuze by the collar because the man just wants to wreck Kiryu’s shit.

-Awano will laugh at Kiryu and say to himself that he is not going to get some if he keeps acting like that with you. “Kid needs to grow some balls.”

-If their orders are to take you back to Dojima and not just keep an eye on you, they will do it by having Awano approach youu and asking you to come with him or things will get ugly. If you and Kiryu stand up for yourselves, then Kuze comes in. And as Kiryu is busy fighting him, Shibusawa quietly takes you by the wrist and gets you inside a taxi, no matter your protests.

-In the very end Shibusawa gets all the credits for finding you, since he is the one that takes you back to your father.

Depending on how busy he is with the clan, he might just give you a few million yen and tell you to treat yourself.

Otherwise, he'll have some of his boys bring you some real fancy food and wine. He's not a huge fan of going out and partying so he'd prefer the two of you celebrating in private.

Would buy you some expensive jewelry. Maybe something relating to his tattoo as a way of marking you as his for others to see. He can't let some idiot getting any ideas, after all.

But he really doesn’t do anything too special for your birthday. Just know that he does appreciate having you in his life, he just has a difficult way to show it.

Kuze will be fuming the moment he fins out that his daughter is dating Kiryu. Not that he was a loving father to begin with, but you will come to hate him completely once he makes his men take you and keep you hidden far away from Kamurocho. Kiryu promises to himself to find you, but it is going to be a very difficult task for him to do. As long as Kuze is standing and willing to continue fighting Kiryu, it is unlikely he will be able to get you back to him.

Now more than ever, Kuza is 100% motivated to kill Kiryu. Anf of course, Kiryu will be 200% more motivated to beat the shit out of Kuze. Over and over.
