Hello again friends! My name is Matt, a 24-year-old nonbinary teddy bear who still has the Genshin bug going strong in me after a few months so I wanted to post another ad for other fellow Genshin players who wouldn't mind doing oc x canon roleplay with me! The character I will be playing is my OC, Anya/Angel, who has both her canon verse ( modern ) and genshin verse ( in world ) ready to go in Google Docs detailing both!

You’d always been good at sword fighting, but over the years, your training had been replaced with more political subjects. After all, you were the heir of a kingdom. You needed to be taught the ways of the diplomat, politician, and strategist. These topics were hard to juggle with the ways of battle.

However, it was long ago when you’d finished the curriculum. Your parents no longer had anything to throw at you, nothing practical nor theoretical.

Sparring and training under the Twilight Sword proved to be a good decision. His immense expertise in swordsmanship, albeit the lack of mentoring skills, led to your improvement.

Though this training seemed to have its consequences.

Every day, every single one for the past few weeks, was spent sparring with Dainsleif. The man was a guard, soldier, and warrior. He knew much in lots of fields. As such, he taught you many forms of battle, in case you had one specific weapon. Whatever the object, he knew how to use it.

Which of course meant that he knew how to fight with his fists as well, and inevitably, that training came.

He taught you the basics, along with how to knock someone off their balance, how to break free from restraint, and how to defend yourself from the most vulnerable positions.

Learning these was not the problem, rather, it was the intimacy that the fighting style brought.

You couldn’t exactly handle the moments where his face was right in front of yours, mere inches apart, it left you a little mesmerized. Not to mention having his thighs wrapped around your head for strategic advantage and vice versa.

It was certainly doing no good for your feelings. By the end of the day, you were quite relieved to be done with training.

“Finally found something you’re not good at.” He remarks, oblivious to the state of your warm cheeks.

“Uh-huh.” You agree offhandedly, too busy drowning your feelings in water as you drank from your goblet. How unusual would it be to splash your whole face in water to try to cool down your cheeks? Too much?

“Well, that’s alright.” He seems amused by the fact you’re chugging your water. You wish his gaze was off of you, as it only caused your cheeks to burn more. “Your only weakness would be fighting in a grassland.”

You laugh nervously, hoping that he doesn’t notice it. Thankfully, to you, it does not seem he does.

Your parents had traveled to a village closer to the outskirts of Khaenri’ah about a week into your training. They had reasons to be cautious, as evident by the fact both Dainsleif and Kaeya’s parents going with them. The most concerning part of that was that their parents were retired. They left you to care for the main village, but it seemed trouble was to rise once again.

Was half a century of peace not enough for the zealous kings of the seven nations?

“Dear (y/n),

Your assistance is required. Bring a small portion of the village’s army, along with the Frostwind Swordsman and the Twilight Sword.

You need not be quick, just know that your support is necessary.

The Alberich’s have both been dispatched to nearby armies, and they have valuable information that cannot be sent over mail, for it is far too fragile.

Sincerely, King and Queen of Khaenri’ah.”

The letter showed no signs of rush, but it did not fail to invoke a fear in your heart. Your parents were capable leaders; the idea that they needed help was unlikely. For them to need it meant that something major was going to happen.

The news did not come easy for either swordsmen. Though they masked their fear, it was evident in their dilated pupils.

However, as the heirs to skilled parents, you had to be strong.

Preparing was easy, although tense. Dainsleif knew the army most, so he chose the best soldiers. Soon enough, you had plenty horses, an army, and rations. The journey was not going to be quick, and it was not going to lack pressure either.

In the years following Khaenri’ah’s unification, villages and towns had barely expanded. They did not form villages when they did not need to, nor did they kill animals for the sake of doing so.

The people of Khaenri’ah, unlike the neighboring barbarians of the seven kingdoms, respected nature.

Nature was its own domain. As a result of peace, lack of bloodshed and disturbance, the land had grown to be prosperous once again. While it may have been troublesome to travel through denser areas, one was to respect them.

After all, had it not been for foliage to hide in, many citizens would’ve fallen victim to the hands of bloodthirsty kings.

You and Dainsleif knew the way best, which meant you scouted on ahead. Kaeya was a charismatic man, and even with how much he complained about being away from ‘the most interesting people in this bandwagon’, he was not going to be bored speaking to shallow soldiers.

In some ways, it was a blessing. Kaeya would not be bothering you with his annoying banter or remarks about your hopeless love for your royal guard.

In other ways, it was a curse. Dainsleif would be by your side throughout the whole ride, and you would be alone with him. He was not the best small talker, which you supposed was much better than Kaeya’s incessantness, but it was also rather awkward. Though to him it seemed like it was only a normal day.

At least you could busy yourself in the sounds of nature. In your younger days, you had spent much time playing in forests with or without friends. The sounds of chirping birds and wind blowing through branches was familiar to you, except you hadn’t heard it in much time. It felt nostalgic, to say the least.

You used to play hide n’ seek in forests, so you were familiar with the sound of sneaking around in grass, a sound you picked up from playing seeker. It’s quite unsettling to hear them now.

Best case scenario, it’s only little critters and animals. Worst case, well, you don’t want to think about it.

Still, you can’t keep your mind off it.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, Dainsleif speaks up.

“I’m curious,” Dainsleif was often curious, yet you wondered if it would be detrimental to you this time. “Why is it that-”

As if nature itself is blessing you for the years of respect you’ve regarded it with, you’ve made it to a small clearing in the forest. The sound of water hadn’t been absent throughout your trek, although you hadn’t expected it to be this close. As you finally found a gap in the leaves, you noticed it was about sunset.

Bright rays of the golden hour peaked through tree tops, shining upon flowing water, strong bark, and fragile grass. With the way it paints the forest beautifully, you’re almost afraid to glance over to your scouting partner.

“Shall we make camp here?” But unavoidably, you must.

A stray ray of light shines diagonally over his face, brightening one of his eyes and his lips. His pale hair turns into a golden blonde and accentuates his long lashes. His lips are rosier than ever, certainly making them even more kissable. His eyes turn from their usually deep blue to a lighter turquoise, a color that seems almost other-wordly.

As if noticing your desire for him, he smiles charmingly. The only thing keeping you from acting on such desires is how far apart your horses are.

Even with how annoying he is, sometimes Kaeya is a good savior. “Dainsleif! (y/n)! Why’d you stop?!” He shouts from a distance.

You clear your throat, managing to tear your gaze from Dainsleif’s beauty thanks to Kaeya snapping you out of your trance, “Yeah, we should.”

You pay no mind to him replying to the pesky agent, guiding your horse further into the clearing and dismounting; Dainsleif follows suit. That gesture should be enough to tell him what you’re doing.

“Oh! Okay, gotcha!”

Dainsleif chuckles, whether it was at your trance or Kaeya’s silliness, you don’t know.

I only accept one character per request. I do write either fem or gn readers, be sure to specify. If you don’t, then I’ll choose depending on my mood.

I’ll accept OCs too, for now at least, but you have to give me a brief overview of your OC. If I decide I don’t like writing OCs then this may change.
