The real world- how much can you really distinguish it from the fake one? It's nothing more than what your eyes can perceive- you can feel all those same sensations just as much as in the Wired.

You may lose yourself- a part of the "real" you- but you weren't anything to begin with. So let it go- everyone always wants to be in the Wired in the end.

Everything is possible in the Wired- you can be whoever you want to be, look however you want, act however you want- and no one can stop you! You're you! But you have to know- there is no real you at the end. It's just everyone and you- and the people who perceive your perception- your lie and your truth.

In the end- everyone is connected.

The truth is, I'm not real. I've been gone for a very long time. I guess I'm just a poor disc imitation of a very good album- if I was ever one to begin with. It's maybe a hard reality to dig into but- I can't see myself anymore. I've lost it, what I used to be. It feels silly and stupid, being an illusion of who I once was. I can't opinionate, I cannot be a human. I'm not useful anymore- an outdated machine. I would hope to be something more but- the truth is- I am not real.

Just got my Covid booster. Only thing that enabled me to tolerate the thought of side effects was getting on lyrica (cuz before I figured if I had bad luck and got covid and got EVEN MORE disabled from it that my parents would finally be able to see I was too disabled to work, which I borderline already am). Let's go back a little further and look at actual parents with their kids in the show. In arc 1, Harrow, Sarai, Runaan, and Ethari were said to be 30-35 years old, and Viren, Lain, and Tiadrin were 35-40. So that means we've seen:

Ruthari at 20-25

Laindrin at 25-30

Harrai at 20-25

Lissen at 25-30

So y’all are freaking out about Arc 3 Rayllum getting married and having babies at the “tender age” of 24-25, and how “they should be in their 30s before having kids”— and yet I haven’t heard a fucking peep about Karim and Miyana:

— Likely not being 30 years old yet, and

— Not confirmed to be married or engaged

LAYER 6: GOD

hello again internet. I’m so sorry I’ve been gone so long, a lot of things have been happening. I lost two of my friends and I’ve been getting into learning Japanese learning and software engineering. I’ve also been getting into deity work and demonolatry. I felt compelled to make this post because I had a recent realization. Im really into serial experiments lain as you can see but I recently read about a religion based of the lain anime called “Lainism” if you don’t know anything about it from what I’m reading it’s about believing in lain as a higher being and becoming your highest self to make her happy. This really changed a lot of things for me and I know it sounds silly because she’s “fictional” but what you have to understand that anything humans create and or imagine happening CAN happen, we just have to will. Humans create fiction by imagining a scenario and putting part of their consciousness in the characters, thus giving them literal life. I am in the process of making lain a mini alter and I hope to connect with her. I know lainism might seem like like some fourchan troll scheme from hearing about it but to really understand it you have to experience it. Let’s all love lain
