Name Origin: Daenarya is named after both Daenerys Targaryen and Arya Stark from Game of Thrones (I did NOT know there were people who ship Daenerys and Arya that use Daenarya as their ship name...)

Name Meaning: Since I made up her name, her name is unique and does not have any predetermined meaning.

Daenerys means "lady of light" and "lady of hope". Arya means faithful, friend, and noble

Birthday: April 10 Zodiac: Aries

Hair: Wavy, dark brown Eyes: Dark brown Skin Tone: medium tan (of hispanic or Mediterranean decent) Height: 5'4" (4" shorter than our favorite Short King, Mal who is 5'8"* *5'8" and half! < he will not let you forget the half!)

Personality: daring, adventurous, independent, charismatic, courageous, warmhearted, confident, quick-witted, impatient, impulsive, headstrong, and argumentative.

Daenarya is is brutally honest and straightforward. She doesn't care if you like it or not. If you tell her she "can't" do something, she will do it, just to prove you wrong. She is innovative and crafty. She sees solutions others don't. She is not afraid of hard work and will do what it takes to reach her goals.

Daenarya is confident in who she is and all she believes. She is not afraid to be herself and she'll never hide herself away for anyone. She is who she is like her or not (but hopefully you like her).

The Past

Parents: Pedr (biological father) and Caitrin (biological mother) Adopted by Amaethon

Background: Pedr and Caitrin were local merchants. Pedr was a winemaker and Caitrin wove baskets that they traded for ingredients to make their wine. They weren't wealthy but they always seem to have enough to make ends meet. They built a name for themselves through hard work and dedication to their craft.

The birth of their daughter was their proudest moment. She was everything they could ever dream of. They doted over her and made her the center of their lives. They took her everywhere with them. From a young age, Daenarya captured the attention and love of all those she met. She loved traveling to new towns as her parents sold their goods.

Young Daenarya also particularly enjoyed squishing and stomping on the grapes to help her father. They would make a game of it, and even dance together while they stomped. Her mom would sing or hum melodies from the side. These moments were among her earliest and favorite memories.

Her parents died when she was very young as bandits ransacked their caravan when they were traveling between villages. The bandits killed all the adults, sparing only the two children, Daenarya and Kade*.

*Kade is the son of a glass blower, who made the wine bottles for Daenarya's family. The two families were close friends and often traveled together selling their goods. Kade's father also sold glass vases and glass jewelry (that his wife created from his colored glass pieces). Kade's mother loved books and often read stories to Kade and Daenarya during their travels.

Daenarya and Kade were taken in by a local farmer, Amaethon, who found the young children hiding in the mud beneath the toppled wagon.

Amaethon didn't have children of his own. His wife died in childbirth. He took finding Daenarya and Kade as a sign that he still had hope for a family. Initially, he was very kind and generous with them, but as they grew, his love for them did not. He was never unkind to them, but he did not love them, and the children quickly realized it. They coexisted together, but never connected.

As soon as Daenarya and Kade were old enough, they set off on their own. Together on their own was better than being in a place where they felt unwanted. The world was not always kind to them, they both suffered and were mistreated by adults they met who took advantage of their youth and needs, but they were always there for each other and together they survived it all.

The Future

Husband: Mal Volari

Occupation: Co-Owner of Mal's Orphanage

Children: Rayden (adopted), Lydo (adopted), Iliana Maria Volari, and two future biological children with Mal

Mal and Daenarya have 5 kids (not counting all the orphans they take care of)! Several months after opening their orphanage, they decide to adopt Rayden and Lydo, two brothers who were their first rescues. Shortly afterward they find out they’re pregnant (it’s a girl), but still go through with the adoption because they love those two boys. More to come on their other two children.
