Anton stared at the woman with his hands in his pockets, his expression unchanging as he looked her up and down. He did not want to remarry after his first wife died in the birthing bed, but he had no heir, and he had no choice. She was pretty, they had found one that looked like his Eve, it didn't make him want it anymore. She seemed scared, so he forced a fanged smile. "How do you feel?" he asked softly, he knew she was in the middle of shifting, it hurt terribly to turn into a vampire.

"I am sure you're hungry, I had my kitchen prepare cookies and cakes with substitutes that will cater to your cravings." He smiled a bit more

It was a ritual that Adam was very fimilure with at this point in his life. Have a nightmare, wake up screaming,and if needed apologize to whoever had been next to him. He never expected said person to ever be Eve though. She was also the last person he had ever wanted to subject to his crys and screams of "not my son" or "Caine what have you done!!!!? What have you done?????" His golden eyes watched her nervously,as she walked around the kitchen of his apartment. He had tried to tell himself it would be a bad idea to invite her over, tried to tell himself she'd probably make the dreams worse somehow,but he had taken the risk. Because he loved her,he missed her and now after reminding her of such a terrible memory, would probably never see her again.

His eyes watered, and he bowed at her feet. "Darling I, I'm so sorry, if only I had stayed awake I.." He stopped himself. This was no time to spiral, she didn't have much time left. He could see the clouds opening to bring her home. "Know this, I will not rest until I find who did this to you, and they will experience pain, and torment beyond the likes of anything they've ever experienced. All I ask in return is that you wait for me, and when my time comes I, I want your face to be one of the first I see". He hugged her dress, sobbing silently.

The first man awoke to an empty bed,immediately starting to panic. "Oh God I was right she... now now Adam breath she probably just went to get some breakfast or coffee. Yeah,that was it." He switched on his phone,no messages or texts. He gulped,mabey she's just in the lobby. He'd been to tired to even change his clothes last night so he'd slept in the same dress shirt and slacks he'd put on yesterday. He yawned. Standing up and slipping on shoes he opened the door.

His brain refused to process what he was seeing at first. This was obviously still a dream. His wife was not lieing on the floor dead and with blood oozing from her chest a few feet from his door. Her skin wasn't gray. Her skin didn't feel cold when he lifted her in his arms, smereing still semi-freash blood on his shoes and shirt. He didn't hear a frighted gasp from the lobby,and a yell of "Call the police "!!

This wasn't happening. He just needed to wake up,he pinched his face Wake up,bites his hand her blood touching his tongue WAKE UP". He slowly stepped back inside, closes the door and sits down on the bed. He doesn't feel anything,he can't. He's still in shock.

Main Eve verse : adopted Cain, Abel and Seth and Possibly their sister , and then Charlie of course eventually a bio child between Eve and Lucifer . With @pick-your-poison-please

Other side verse : Another Cain (bio kid) with Eve , and Charlie and mentioned not really used Oc kid of mine Strygus this is with @parvum-draconis

And in another verse slowly but surely working on adopting Cain with @daedaluscried hehe

And let’s be real he’s so accidentally adopting Gritt in a way @hannah-the-small

He bent down on his knees,cradeling her body, a bullet wound in her head. She would reincarnate, she always did but...that never made her last moments any easier on him. It was always something lately, this time it was something about humans and apples and forbidden knowledge.  It was all starting to look like a pattern doomed to repeat itself over and over until the inevitable end.  So he decided to see what the fuss was all about.  

He practiced first, of course, pulling it all in to a manageable shape that wouldn’t burn her eyes out of her head or leave her comatose.  How Lucifer had managed a serpent he wasn’t entirely sure. Physicality was so tricky.  What Gabriel ended up with was vaguely human shaped, featureless, with cracks in it’s grey skin.  Probably not too alarming. 

“Excuse me!  Could I ask you something?” He materialized a good five feet from her as a courtesy.  No need to be too startling.

          Sometimes the universe plays cruel jokes.   Gabriel hadn’t been looking for her or even thinking about her.  He’d been minding his own business comparing brands of dog food. And then he wasn’t doing that anymore because he was staring at her through the pet store window.

          With every step he took he was more certain that it had to be her and (simultaneously) that it couldn’t be her.  Because, while dead women did sometimes get up and start walking again, piles of dust and bone rarely followed suit.  Eve was dead and gone and had been for a very, very long time now. Except that she wasn’t.

          Before he’d figured out what he was going to say or do or even how he felt about what appeared to be happening Gabriel was in front of her, brow furrowed and mouth locked into an uncomfortable half-smile. “Has anyone ever told you that you look just like a friend of mine?”  He asked, without any regard for how completely stupid he sounded.
