"Alright,I trust you ". He was out like a light before his head hit the pillow,in probably the deepest sleep of his life.

The first mans eyes were dropping shut,pinching himself wasn't working anymore and the coffee in the room above the bar had long been guzzled down. "I'm not sure how much longer I can keep myself awake". He yawned loudly. "Just...promise me you'll still be there when I wake up"?! [It starts.]

" Adam... My love. Nothing is going to happen if we both sleep. " She whispered running a hand through his hair. Eve still wasn't sure Adam wasn't overreacting. Still, she should be kind and patient - what if the tables had turned?

Anton stared at the woman with his hands in his pockets, his expression unchanging as he looked her up and down. He did not want to remarry after his first wife died in the birthing bed, but he had no heir, and he had no choice. She was pretty, they had found one that looked like his Eve, it didn't make him want it anymore. She seemed scared, so he forced a fanged smile. "How do you feel?" he asked softly, he knew she was in the middle of shifting, it hurt terribly to turn into a vampire.

"I am sure you're hungry, I had my kitchen prepare cookies and cakes with substitutes that will cater to your cravings." He smiled a bit more

Rico smiled for a moment speaking of his grandmother. The woman was rarely praised as a goddess but it did happen. She made a Lilly for wife of adam, it was more rare than astatine but more expensive than the most flawless diamond. Pointing back he was shocked the man didn't see Adam's tulip and Abel's iris all in the same section. It finally came to his mind that the flower he spoke of was made for the first family by his grandmother and all of these people were his family.

It was a ritual that Adam was very fimilure with at this point in his life. Have a nightmare, wake up screaming,and if needed apologize to whoever had been next to him. He never expected said person to ever be Eve though. She was also the last person he had ever wanted to subject to his crys and screams of "not my son" or "Caine what have you done!!!!? What have you done?????" His golden eyes watched her nervously,as she walked around the kitchen of his apartment. He had tried to tell himself it would be a bad idea to invite her over, tried to tell himself she'd probably make the dreams worse somehow,but he had taken the risk. Because he loved her,he missed her and now after reminding her of such a terrible memory, would probably never see her again.

His eyes watered, and he bowed at her feet. "Darling I, I'm so sorry, if only I had stayed awake I.." He stopped himself. This was no time to spiral, she didn't have much time left. He could see the clouds opening to bring her home. "Know this, I will not rest until I find who did this to you, and they will experience pain, and torment beyond the likes of anything they've ever experienced. All I ask in return is that you wait for me, and when my time comes I, I want your face to be one of the first I see". He hugged her dress, sobbing silently.

The first man awoke to an empty bed,immediately starting to panic. "Oh God I was right she... now now Adam breath she probably just went to get some breakfast or coffee. Yeah,that was it." He switched on his phone,no messages or texts. He gulped,mabey she's just in the lobby. He'd been to tired to even change his clothes last night so he'd slept in the same dress shirt and slacks he'd put on yesterday. He yawned. Standing up and slipping on shoes he opened the door.

His brain refused to process what he was seeing at first. This was obviously still a dream. His wife was not lieing on the floor dead and with blood oozing from her chest a few feet from his door. Her skin wasn't gray. Her skin didn't feel cold when he lifted her in his arms, smereing still semi-freash blood on his shoes and shirt. He didn't hear a frighted gasp from the lobby,and a yell of "Call the police "!!

This wasn't happening. He just needed to wake up,he pinched his face Wake up,bites his hand her blood touching his tongue WAKE UP". He slowly stepped back inside, closes the door and sits down on the bed. He doesn't feel anything,he can't. He's still in shock.

He smiles imedetly falling back onto his leather one,still holding her tight. He rolled onto his side starting to kiss her everywhere face,hair,neck,he had missed this,missed her so much.

He dipped her, kissed her lips and picked her up bridal style. "What was your first clue". "Now bedroom cuddles, or couch cuddles"??

And in another verse slowly but surely working on adopting Cain with @daedaluscried hehe
