any lasting injuries from combat ? —

Aki, despite being a God, is covered in marks from past battles. Her body may be able to withstand almost any sort of attack, and when you apply the factor she’s able to reheal from marks from combat over a span of a few days to a few weeks, it should seem as if she’s able to remain completely “ pure “ from wounds. In truth, it’s the exact opposite. Whether it be the most basic, such as stabbed / shot, to some of the more intense, ripped in half / had her body basically turn inside out, there’s the marks left behind to prove it. ( I feel like I should say that not every injury leaves behind a scar!!! It’s only the things that could be considered “ major “ left, or if she’s cut with something with things like poison in it, then those will show. )

The main area for any injury is from the waist up: she fights mostly with her legs, so in order to avoid getting hurt down there, she shifts her body so the blunt of the attack hits her sides or arms or something other than her lower limbs. If, by say, her arm was cut off in the process, she wouldn’t pay it any sort of worry until the effects of blood loss began to set in. I cannot remember if this has been mentioned before, but this fox has psychokinetic abilities! If something goes flying off of her body, she’s going to pick it up and smack you with it. ( Outside of battle, if I am to be honest, she may detach something just to do this to someone she hates for fun, or even a friend! She finds it hilarious, until one of her partners takes it from her and begins trying to smack her with it as payback. A weird game of cat & mouse, and Aki loves it. ) I’m going to be honest, she doesn’t exactly remember how half of them occured! Not because they were so traumatizing, but because she’s had so many fights in her life, and she doesn’t care for a majority of ninty percent of them, that she just. . . shoves them to the back of her mind! If thought about for a long time, a few days maybe, then perhaps she can recall how / why, but otherwise? Nope!

Fun fact: the most recent scar of Aki’s is when she was stabbed in the throat. * her vc * thanks, asshole. really needed that really wanted it too. love that sweet pain, makes me want to embrace death even more.

10. What energizes and drains them most?

        There’s no denying he gets a thrill out of a fight. Mayyybe he’s a bit of an adrenaline junkie. Doing something even mildly dangerous is enough to make him drop his cool composure and bring a wild light to his eyes and a grin impossibly big to his face.

       … Really, the promise of something exciting will catch his attention. But his standards can be kind of high.

       Dealing with people for too long drains him quickly, despite his charisma. Even though he’s quite willing to appear on television, as a guest in a talk show or beside a news anchor, saying what he can to please the masses, he’s still reserved at heart. It’s not unlike him to hide away within his home for days on end to recuperate until he’s ready to deal with others again. Acting like you give a shit about what other people say and that you actually like them isn’t always an easy task.

       Despite his wealth, he doesn’t dress to stand out too much. In fact, he dresses rather conservatively, never showing much skin. There’s always a coat around his shoulders when he goes out, heavy on his frame and sweeping behind him. It’s a trademark of his, in a way. Expensive coats that still look rather plain yet give him a whole different aura. Without them, he looks a bit smaller. One might think he does this to appear more imposing, and that’s partially true, but there’s also other more personal reasons for it that he refuses to elaborate on.

       A copy of Dante’s Divine Comedy that can fit in his coat pocket, the pages yellowed with age, dog-eared and crinkled, the cover worn. Well-used and well-loved. It ties into his fascination with religion, with his need to understand and learn about demons and what his father died for.

       And he always carries some form of weaponry with him, be it a gun he can easily hide beneath his coat, or a knife, or maybe both. A constant need to protect himself should danger come. If he were to leave without at least a knife on him, he’d grow jittery and paranoid and more likely to snap and lash out. He’s lean and athletic and quick on his feet, but he’s not the strongest person physically; he can throw punches, sure, but that only does so much. The weapons are a substitute for raw strength.
