For the past few weeks, I’ve been randomly hit with the mental image of Copia, now Frater and a father, holding his baby of only a couple months. They’re on a stair landing, standing right before a stained glass window depicting Old Man Nihil.
And Copia’s just lightly bouncing his child in his arms, chatting away, going, “And see? That’s your Pop-Pop. Or whatever you’re gonna call him. Personally, I think he should be called Dickhead but Mama/Dada would have my ass for it if I taught you any of that. But you can’t talk yet, so you won’t snitch on me. No, no, you won’t!” He places a peck on the noggin of the completely oblivious baby, who’s just happy to have Papa holding them as they stare blankly at the colorful window before them.
