Mob and Ritsu stay at Reigen's less than ideal apartment while their house is being rebuilt by Shou's lackeys. In the first morning, they are startled awake by a bloodcurdling, grating noise that booms all across the claustophobic walls. They assume this means a disaster is happening. Seasoning City had just been attacked by terrorists and there was no guarantee it truly ended. A sweep of dread. They could have been targeted.

Out of instinct, the siblings dash to wherever the sound comes, armed to the teeth with ESP, only to discover it was Reigen's smoker ass coughing for his life in the bathroom to pay for the years he spent annihilating his lungs with cigarrettes. Three pairs of eyes stare uncomfortably at each other alike to a spaghetti western duel. The glass of the shower buzzes with psychic static.

"Hey," Reigen mumbles blankly between a mouthful of toothpaste foam, eyes squinted in a way that could be rounded to 'shut'. "If you guys need to use the bathroom so damn much you could have just warned."
