you and david couldn't be more different

where he was all fast speeds and zooming bikes, you were books and reading and cozy nights spent between pages

david loved that about you - you could always be found with your head in a book, pages turning as you dove deeper into the plot

he'll ask you what you're reading and then accidentally pay you no attention because he's distracted by how pretty your mouth is

knows better than to interrupt you whilst you're reading because you've glared him down before

always buys you books to keep you happy and keep your collection stocked up

if you can't speak spanish, he'll teach you so you can read books from his country in their native language

everyone was really confused when they saw him carrying three books around the paddock one day until they watched him hand them over to you

you lit up like a damn christmas tree at that

thinks you're so cute when you're concentrated

if you're like me and you have to read out loud to get through the book quicker/better, david will adapt so quickly and won't hesitate to tell people to fuck off if they are mean about it

david never leaves to go to races with you without checking you packed all your books first

you forgot one sequel once and you tore the place apart trying to find it before you started panicking

sometimes, when you get really into a book, you don't notice how much time passes

this isn't a problem at home, but when you're at races, you can easily miss the start of sessions

david will always make sure to interrupt you with a kiss before the moto2 sessions start

he knows you hate missing them but sometimes... the book is just too good and you don't realise

a lot of the other riders are used to seeing you curled up in a chair, eyes skittering over the pages in front of you

a member of his team accidentally knocked a drink over onto your book once and david wouldn't calm down until that person went & replaced your book

you said it was fine but david refused to drop it

don't read to him because he will conk out instantly

you didn't know this at first and so you started reading to him one night, not wanting him to feel "left out" (his words, not yours)

luckily, you were in bed at the hotel, because he was asleep on your shoulder by the end of the paragraph

you fear to know what'd happen if you weren't in a bed or sat down

whether you're a slow reader or a fast reader, it doesn't matter - he will be so enraptured and wowed by you all the same

might jokingly tease you over being a nerd, but clap back at him for being a dumb jock and he'll get all pouty and huffy and cute

does sometimes play up your nerd/jock dynamic because he finds it silly and fun, but he'll never push it so far as to potentially upset you or make you feel like he's judging you

you tried to make him read to you once and he kinda mucked it up

it made you laugh so hard that david said maybe you should try and get on his bike, which promptly shut you up

always down for cuddles whilst you read

if he falls asleep and wakes up to you crying over a sad ending, he will sigh in exasperation before sitting up and gently wiping away your tears

so well at comforting you despite the fact that he just calls you silly a bunch of times until you sniffle for him to shut up

he's so cute tbh <3

This trip will take them to Beijing,Hangzhou,and Shanghai.They will be in China for about a week.

Today's itinerary:Morning at Beijing Zoo .Afternoon at Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City.

Tomorrow go to the Great Wall.

In Hangzhou,they plan to visit West Lake.Haven't decided where to go in Shanghai yet,as they have been to the Bund before.

Alonso's parents don't speak English,so cfmoto hire a Beijing tour guide who speaks Spanish to accompany them.

Because he's always riding motorcycles,he rarely goes out to play.His last visit to a zoo was when he was seven or eight years old.

It's his first time seeing a giant panda.

He never saw kangaroos when he went to Australia for a race,but he saw them this time.

Visit impressions:He likes the giant pandas and Asian elephants the most.

He wanted to climb the elephant statue in the garden,but he gave up after seeing the sign"No Climbing"below it.

He likes to play with remote control cars,so he bought a lot,but he's afraid of being criticized by his mother,so he asked the staff to secretly take them to the paddock for him.

His phone wallpaper is a photo of himself as a child.

He loved eating roast duck during his last visit to China for the Chunfeng Day,so he came to eat it again.He really likes Chinese food,so when he comes to China,he says he doesn't want to eat Western food and wants to try more Chinese food.

Alonso's mechanics from moto3 will go with him to moto2.

They said they would dress him in a dragon robe,but by the end of the broadcast,they still couldn't find where to borrow the clothes.
