Possible songs

So I was thinking about what songs I would like to include and how to do it. I currently have about 10 or 12 songs in my sights. Here are some of them and why.

then begins a little my explanation of "why?" In the case of 1 it is partly because I love the song, now it is a song that I feel that a senpai from the music and singing classes could have sung for Midori at a time when he was sad. mainly when she realizes that her memories with her friend are very corrupted by her own desires that they are still "friends".

with the second it would be a way of "talking about how a part of the population believes that heroes should be, by laughing even when they are on the verge of death among other things. At least that is one of the things that I thought could be applied by reading the letter and selecting certain fragments.

3.mortal reminder is that song that I use during rehearsals to get some pent up fury or at least it's something I can see midori do on certain notes

As for the fourth song on the list, it would be more of a reference to the negative treatment that people without a quirk or mutation quirks can receive.

With 5 I get the feeling that it would be that song with which Izuku's music band would start, as despite not being able to be "heroes" they can be superheroes, if you know what I mean.

with ranbu no melody is the song that I have in doubt because on the one hand it could be a request from fans but on the other it could be the song that one of the members sings in a moment of loneliness.

the seventh is like saying it without throwing garbage at toshinori, because going straight would be that song that, due to the lyrics, would hit midori's mental wound well after his "last hope" defeated him in his sleep a good part of the song is perfect for that.

As for 8, it would be more due to the tone, I think it would be a song that by chance a midoriya turned into a woman for a couple of hours could sing to eri when he meets her by chance, I don't know why but it gives me that feeling that he could calm eri down a bit due to her calm tone.

@mikeellee I tag you mainly to know your opinion or if you have a song that you would like to "see" in the story. PS: excuse my spelling, English is not my forte although I think I have already mentioned it from time to time.

Falling fast asleep

It was!

“Mother!” He could hear her voice.

Among the ash and the flames that light up the night sky

She was calling him.

Telling him to go to her.

One by one, falling softly 

So he did. 

He disregarded everything around him. 

The heroes,

Shadow Moth,

Everything. 

With your silhouette 

Ladybug stood there, paralyzed at what had transpired before her.

It couldn’t have been.

Not again. 

“Ladybug?” She jumped at the sudden contact on her shoulder. 

The group of heroes all looked at her with concern. 

Casting shadow of your lovely face

She couldn’t let them know. 

Of her absolute terror. 

So, she put on a brave face and said,

“I’ll be handling this alone.” She shook her head as mouths opened in protest. “I can’t subject you to this. For now, disband and keep the miraculous and kwami safe. Please.” She threw her yoyo in the direction Chat No— Chat Blanc went. 

I watched the sky as a million dreams are shining 

She had to do most of her traversing by rooftop due to her shaking hand. 

She didn’t trust herself not to fall out of the sky.

She also didn’t trust herself to handle this on her own. 

But if she was going by what happened last time.

Little dreams, little dreamer

This had to be her fault. 

Which meant she had to fix it. 

Within the tender night, your silver eyes were trembling 

He found her. 

His maman. 

Sleeping in a glass coffin. 

Underneath the home that he lived in

That she lived in

That they lived in together. 

That moment you shined pure, born anew into this world

He reached out to touch her. 

To feel his maman again. 

To feel her heart.

Her love.

Across a million years, time has brought us here

She knew it. 

Gabriel Agreste was Shadow Moth. 

But what did that have to do with Chat Noir’s mother? 

She supposed she’d figure that out soon.

She followed Chat Blanc’s trail of destruction deep below the Agreste mansion. 

Our prayer burn into the earth back where they shall return to time

Where she found 

Chat Blanc

Hawk Moth

And a woman in a glass casket. 

This was definitely taking a turn she never expected. 

I will never stop this prayer leaving my lips

“You stay away from her!” Shadow Moth bellowed. “Return to me my akuma!”

And it did. 

Reverting Chat back to himself

but, 

He didn’t move.

“Chat Noir…” She tried, but he just glared at them. 

“What did you do to her, father?!” Chat Noir ran for Hawk— Gabriel Agreste, claws extended. 

Someone please show this child what love is

Ladybug froze. 

Her breath quickened.

Her shaking hands moved to her legs.

Gabriel Agreste was Shadow Moth. 

The woman in the casket was his wife and Chat Noir’s mother.

Chat Noir called him father.

Chat Noir was Adrien Agreste. 

She dropped to her knees and hit the floor hard. 

At first she thought it was just from the shock but,

Then she felt the blood 

seep from the deep marks on her back. 

What had happened?

She could assume

when she woke up.

Take those tiny hands and leave a kiss

“You stole her love away from me!” Right slash. 

One step back.

“I did no such thing!” Left jab. 

Two steps back.

“Yes you did! You’re the reason for everything!”

Three steps back. “I did it for you! To bring her back!” 

Four.

He was done listening to his lies. 

He activated his cataclysm aiming for his heart

But at the last second he moved away.

And his hand touched the cool surface of glass before breaking through it 

And touching his maman. 

He watched her fade away  

He watched himself fade away

Until nothing was left.

The role of moon symbol in D.Gray-man

Noticed by me and Candy-Crackpot (https://www.tumblr.com/blog/view/candy-crackpot).

The moon symbol is often found on pages of D.Gray-man.

Continue, the manga Hoshino created before D.Gray-man, has the moon in it too. In Continue the moon was Millennium Earl’s prison and the place he corrupted – thus the source of his powers. The Earl calls himself the “messenger from the moon”, calls it “my darling moon” and requests it to send him a servant as it did before. The moon refers to him as Earl-sama.

In D.Gray-man the moon’s role changes as it is not so literal as it was in Continue. It becomes symbolic.

Hoshino draws the moon back in her sketches of Zone, D.Gray-man predecessor (taken from Gray Ark).

To begin with, the 3rd volume of D.Gray-man has this omake which reveals that both stars and the moon are Hoshino’s self-projection in the story.

The moon in D.Gray-man accompanies Millennium Earl.  

In 7 ch the moon is in the sky when the Earl is introduced.

In 88 ch the Earl holds the dolls designed as Noah family members and the moon is in the background.

The moon accompanies Nea. In 21 vol omake Hoshino draws him with it.

In 211 ch we see the moon when one of Campbell’s twins is crying over the other.

In 18 ch when Noah family first appears in the story the backs of their chairs are decorated with phases of the moon.

In 96 ch when Skinn awakens as Wrathra the black moon is in the sky.

The moon is the symbol of Allen as well.

In the Gray Log interview Hoshino reveals the meaning of the chapter covers she has selected. (You can find it in Norowareshimono’s blog: https://norowareshimono.tumblr.com/post/168330704446/gray-logs-monochrome-gallery-hoshinos-chapter)

Here is the info she reveals about 132 ch cover:

“Chapter 132 “The Musician!!?”

After lots of worrying about this cover, I thought “let’s include every element associated with Allen!” and this is how it turned out. This page took an unusual amount of time.”

In this cover we can see Timcanpy, Mana’s curse, Innocence, crucifix, piano (which for sure is connected with Nea), the skull (which probably is connected with Cross Marian as he turned into one). One of the mysteries left is the moon necklace Allen is holding. What is known about it is that Hoshino associates moon with Allen as well.

Many moons connected with Allen are seen in 58 (“Destroyer of time”) and 59 ch. They can be seen accompanying Allen in other chapters as well, for example, in 6 ch.

It is noteworthy that when Allen and the Earl are separated, the moons are actually half-moons. But in the chapter in which we see both Allen and the Earl together for the first time, the moon is full. The chapter I’m referring to is the 2nd one and is entitled “A full moon night”. It is quite possible the moon symbol indicates that Allen (Nea) and the Millennium Earl (Mana) are two parts of one whole.

If you don’t believe it, as a further evidence in 88 ch the moons in the background are two halves of one whole.

Some other characters were accompanied by moons as well: Lenalee – in 74 ch, Kanda & Link – in 213 ch (though I suspect this moon may be related rather to Allen & Nea as they speak about Allen and he is lying over there).

It took me long time to make a coloring of this page. On the black and white page striped ribbon was not so noticeable. Allen's ribbon? Skull that was created on the basis of a man, who uses magic of a special type. Hoshino, we need answers.

I keep thinking about the family relations in D.Gray-Man.. And my theory at this moment is this: I wonder if ‘'past! Allen’’ is the Millenium-earl's and Katerina's son or something. 

Age

Age-wise i think it works since Nea has said before that Allen has ‘’become younger’’ since Nea is supposed to be like 17-ish when he died, doesn’t that mean that Allen is supposed to be older? It could be that the earl split when pasta! was a child maybe he helped raise/teach the twins alongside Katerina. Also being born in this family may be brought some abilities with him like the whole score writing thing.

Allen’s song

Maybe pasta was a gifted musician, and was the one that taught the Campbell twins everything. If he WAS their son, it seems fitting that the family (including Katerina) know everything about the situation (noahs, exorcists, the holy war). What if Allen taught them and they started showing signs of their past life. (being the OG earl).

Maybe when the earl split into two babies (the reason why is unclear) pasta! helped them as their teacher/friend, helping them alongside Katerina. Then maybe when shit hit the fan and Earl/Mana killed Nea. apochrypos was there too and gave him the innocence,(remember his line: you’ve become a beautiful exorcist, Allen?), i think he’s the one that implemented the innocence in his arm, and when the rest of them died/went insane. He woke up one day as a 5-year-old in Edinburgh....without memories.

I wonder when Apocryphos did implement the innocence if he knew about Nea's memories?
