would anyone want to buy some nice quality dgm stickers in this type of finish? they are 3x3 inches, highly permanent, have a raised edge, and are waterproof and durable. even says they are microwave safe!

i had these shipped to a follower to see how they looked since I can't get them shipped to my country (our postal service was liquidated after covid) , and they told me they look really nice! (these photos were provided by them)

However they are quite pricey to make so I would have to sell each one at 5 USD to make some profit, with a minimum shipping price of $4.90 to the USA and $3.60 to Canada, which might not make it worthwhile unless you are planning to get multiple stickers.

The stickers that you can get from my Redbubble shops aren't as high quality as these so I thought I would put out an interest check!

They're printed by the same manufacturer where I had these pouches made many years ago if anyone remembers these from my shop!

So I can offer both pouches and stickers, which might make the shipping cost a little more worthwhile.

D.Gray Man 20 years anniversary

That's right, next 31 May 2024, D.Gray man will be 20 years old. As a celebration, I would like to do a fandom project : a redraw of the first chapter. Which mean, many artists coming together, drawing each a page of the first chapter in their own style.

The first chapter is about 55 pages long, that's a lot, so here's an interest check to see if the project would be possible !

Some things you may want to know if there is enough interest to begin the project :

This project would be free to download once finished, we're not going to sell anything from this, it will be just for fun, a tribute to the manga.

Discord will be needed to talk with each others as it's a big project

You can do whatever you want with your pages as soon as the story/dialogue are respected and the end picture is of good quality (if you do traditional). B&W, colour, scrap booking, painting, traditional... go wild!

You'll be free to choose 3 pages you would like to draw, hopefully this way, everyone will be able to do one page they want!

If we have (shockingly) way more than 50 artists interested in participating, we'll do the whole first tome!

Old fan, new fan, seasoned artists or determined beginner, everyone's welcome !

not to be like this but all of the posts (and there are many across multiple platforms) right now going "I mean obviously I'm not mad or whining or anything but it sucks that there's all these three week breaks, how am I going to survive, this is awful, I cannot believe this is happening to me" like, it does in fact come off as entitled no matter how many qualifiers are put onto it

and the a smaller subset of THAT going "CLEARLY C3 isn't a priority for the studio" or "they're obviously trying to kill C3" or even posting stuff that comes off as "um, don't they know that if they keep doing this I won't shop here watch anymore", like, come on

as a tangent, genuinely, I feel like a lot of people have trouble admitting that they don't actually like C3 so they get existentially worried about them losing interest over a slightly longer break because it'll force them to acknowledge that they aren't actually interested, but it's fine not to be interested!

Reviving my Tumblr graveyard account to share a preview of my page contribution for the redraw of the first few chapters of D.Gray-man to celebrate it's 20th anniversary!

It's been an absolute dream working with the entire team at @dgm20thproject to get this across the line in time. It's been a super rewarding experience and I've really valued the community spirit in our Discord group and meeting lots of different artists to look up to!

I put up a notice on my website for this but I'm gonna try putting out a call for help here too.

I am currently looking for people to help me format and design a KomuBak fanbook and/or a 58k illustrated novel for printing. I've got a terrible eye for font and color design and would really appreciate some help. I've never printed a book before and could use some tips.

I plan on printing a very small batch of these in memory of my late friend Eden with whom I had originally planned these projects, and who wrote the novel. She always dreamed of having The Three-Ringed Path printed as a nice book so I'm hoping I can make that a reality. As such I am not looking to make a profit from them. I plan on donating most of the digital sales of the fanbook (if any, cause let's be real there's like 5 komubak shippers out there) to charity.

I am still willing to pay or offer art/commissions for any help given (though please keep in mind that I can't pay professional hourly wages since I barely make a living wage myself), if anyone feels like giving me a hand. These two books I want to print will be a labor of love for my late friend Eden, so ideally I'd love to have someone who loves DGM or KomuBak help me with this.

For the fanbook I want to make both a SFW and NSFW version, so if you'd like to help me with this you'll need to be comfortable with NSFW artwork.

I realize formatting a 58k novel might be very different than formatting an artbook, so if you might want to help with just one of the books and not both, that's fine.

I don't have a deadline for any of these projects, so any help given will be on your own time with no pressure whatsoever. I've put off working on these projects for nearly 3 years since Eden passed away because of grief, but I would finally like to put them together and have them printed in her memory. If anyone can help me out, even if you can only spare a few hours every month, I would really appreciate it.

oh, now I remember why I stopped reading d.gray-man at volume 14.

EDIT; Actually, I'm going to elaborate on this, feel free to revoke your likes if you disagree.

D.gray-man fan "theories", especially the ones popular on the subreddit, drive me up the wall, some of them are in direct contradiction to the themes of the series, or came about because people only read fan translations/don't even read the official properly (here I acknowledge that Viz isn't helping by translating the names shittily, and yes I mean travesties like "Waiizurii".)

The most egregious one being the "Allen is a grown adult who got de-aged" thing, because literally the only persons word we have to go on is Nea's, and the fact that like 90% of the fandom choose to believe him is absolutely insane. Is it because he's popular for some odd reason? That's weird to me because, as a Sheril stan, I wouldn't believe a goddamn word Sheril says. Why do Nea's fans believe him?

Next, while at first I was skeptical of the idea, I now really really really hope Grave Of Maria actually IS Katerina Eve Campbell, because I hate "Road is Katerina" even more as a plot point.

And speaking of Road, I will be livid if "Road isn't a physical entity as we see her, but a dream being projected by someone sleeping somewhere" actually comes true. Road has done WAY TOO MUCH in the plot to not be a 100% real physical entity of her own, from the eye stabbing to the kissing to the action rescue, and her interactions with the other Noah, I will literally be so fucking angry about this one.
