wanted to hop on the trend of doing an character inspo chart that @kofeedoggo started with their ocs, Jae and Evon, and that @solei-eclipse and @sotogalmo continued with theirs :D

funniest thing is that Onyx really didn't come from any character specifically so I kind of had to scrape for some- Toph is personality/eyes inspo, Trailblazer is hair and personality (eccentric, somewhat combative, autistic) (yeah i headcanon trailblazer as autistic what about it), Akira Fudo is probably moral compass and hairstyle, Alhaitham is attitude and hair (he's a bitch and Nyx is a bitch *sighs*), Lillium is personality/moral compass and Iris is hair/outfit mostly because he wears hip windows. haha

iris and lillium are from countdown to countdown by @velinxi, akira fudo is from devilman crybaby, trailblazer is from honkai star rail, alhaitham is from genshin impact, and toph beifong is from avatar the last airbender!

It comes p naturally to me- but that’s probably because I watch and study a lot of aesthetically pleasing animations/ medias like Paprika, Wes Anderson, etc (studying always ALWAYS help).  I generally like to follow the rule of thirds for aesthetically pleasing pictures. I also just hyper focus on whatever is important for extreme situations in paneling. I know brad bird has a book on posing characters and paneling and I hear its v informative and good if thats any help!

Do I dream?

I often wonder to myself.




Do I dream?




I know I do. I can feel it.




This haunting feeling, I stay afloat.




There is so many things to say, but so little come out.

I often daydream, about a whole new world. A whole new world that I create for myself. Where dreams and achievements are a thought away. To live in it feels wonderful and I can feel. Living in my own world creates that sense. A sense of ability to feel genuine feelings.




But am I genuinely happy? In reality, no. But there's an after-taste to it.




Is it my head that I keep doing this to myself?

Surely, yes. My condition is one of the major reasons why I do this often.

I am also imaginative. Those two combined makes a great sense, doesn't it?




I fell in love with a man in my head. He doesn't exist, but my love for him feels surreal.

I will tell you what he's like.




This figure in my head that I fell in love with, I saw him from a film I like. I could relate to him so much that I began to emphatise. For him. I see his dreams and, of course, his pain. I began to understand the lonely perfection of his dreams. From that moment on, I began to develop some kind of.. feelings. It was very unusual but I got myself used to it.




It was a surreal feeling.

It was like as if he'd always be there for me. But the downfall was the fact that I rarely saw him in my dream (when I slept), knowing how much I cared for him.

I'd see him every now and then in my dream, but when I'm awake, I could feel him by my side. I could feel him in my head. I know what he'd say when I do something or feel a certain feeling. Fear, for instance. When I'm afraid, he'd always calm me down in my head. It helps.

I call him Lily, referring to the lillium of the flowers.
