    “I know,” Her head nods, shoulders barely able to lift more than a few inches. She’s exhausted. D e f e a t e d after snapping at Stiles. He’s only trying to help but she can’t. They can’t keep revisiting this. He was never going to understand, not in the way the girls could try. She’s a g h o s t---just like Clarke had said. Clarke had been living with a ghost for years, it was time Octavia finally let her out. “I know, you’re always just trying to help...” Her voice is soft as her eyes filled to the brim with tears. But there wasn’t anything he could do. No words that would make this better. No advice to fix it. Because in the end, Octavia couldn’t fix it. Fixing it meant hurting Clarke, maybe even more than she was hurting now. 

   “Take care of her, you know---don’t let her spend too much time at the cabin. It’s only good for a little while...” Octavia hoped, in time, the others would come to accept the new reality but for now, she couldn’t face it much longer. “I’m leaving in a couple days, conference in a big city, I tried Wells but he’s really tied up right now, just check on her.” She knew he would. Stiles couldn’t help it but she could see the glimmer in his eye that told her what a mistake they were making. “Please.”

                      they both needed a break from all the                         craziness that was their life and what                      better way than vegas! they would blow                      off a little steam for the weekend and then                      get back to beacon hills in time to help out.                           no harm no foul. except the fact they                                   had a little t o o m u c h f u n.                 Kira woke up with a groan, shifting in bed with                 ————————————————————— stiles.                              W H A T?!                     Kira jerked up but had to stop at the intense                     pounding in her head. "Stiles, something's                     happened," Kira groaned out, blinding reaching                     for the glass of water she remembered putting                     on the nightstand.
