1. Crowley walked the patrol route dutifully, but his heart wasn’t in it.

2. The Spymaster of the Alliance visiting Silvermoon was less “one last stop on a survey” and more a diplomatic event, and therefore most of their time was heavily scheduled.

3. Flynn had made a bit of a game of seeing how flimsy his excuses could be for getting into Shaw’s office before being chased off.

4. Ezra couldn’t see.

5. Cyrus couldn’t say that he liked Mathias Shaw.

6. As night fell the wind picked up, plucking at Mathias’s cloak.

7. Flynn woke up and immediately wished he hadn’t.

8. Flynn leant against the doorjamb, a cup cradled in his hands, and tried not to visibly pout.

9. “You didn’t mention which loa’s temple we were visiting,” said Fairwind, and Mathias heaved an internal sigh.

10. Balanced on knees and one hand, offering a man a glass full of expensive liquor, was probably not the ideal moment to admit that the sound of your name on his lips had made all the blood in your body rush south, but Flynn had never claimed to have the best timing.

11. When Jaina had handed him the pendant, Anduin hadn’t been sure what to think.

12. It was odd, Mathias thought, how often he used the word ‘never’ in regards to Flynn.

13. “You sound a little different too,” Flynn said.

14. The passage from Kalimdor had been hard; they���d been caught in an unseasonable storm and while it hadn’t been a serious danger it had worn everyone out.

15. “I have to admit, mate, I’m not sure how I’m going to get out of this one,” said Flynn.

16. Felsoul Hold was never quiet.

17. Flynn stood at the prow and wondered why the hairs on the back of his neck were standing up.

18. At first, Renzik couldn’t believe his luck.

19. They lay on their sides, face to face.

20. Fortunately, Flynn knew a couple of people with magical healing ability, so once he limped back to Boralus he was able to get himself squared away.

Apparently I really do like to open stories with one-sentence paragraphs; about half of these do that.

My fave ... 15 and 17 are probably the top contenders, because they both set up questions right away. What does Flynn need to get out of? Why are the hairs on the back of his neck standing up?
