So, I have been making pigments from scratch in order to test their properties as paints when combined with particular binders/mediums. And I'm doing this as an experiment for my dissertation which focuses on the study of painting materials and techniques of the Early Bronze Age Cycladic marble figurines and their artisanal paraphernalia. The pictures show parts of my painting process in the lab using different binders which I procured from @kremerpigmente amongst others.
