      Most of the time when it rained, it was an all day occurrence. However, he was thankful that today it had started to begin in the middle of the day just when he had headed home to eat lunch between classes, granting him the ability to obtain an umbrella on his way. It was kind of nice, the rain. The way it made the earth smell and made the ground look alive. As violet hues admired his surrounding while he walked, he couldn’t help but notice someone struggling through the rain without any sort of cover.

       He was not one to always be so incredibly kind, but even he wouldn’t like to be left out to get soaked. With a sigh and the slightest of smiles, he walked over to the blonde boy and moved close into to where they were both under the cover of the umbrella he held. When he spoke, it was a little louder than usual to be heard clearly over the clatter of the rain upon the plastic.

        “Where might you be headed?”
