VET TECH HIGHLIGHT! Kathie has been with Countryside for 23 YEARS! Kathie was in school for Veterinary Technology when she decided to apply for a job with us as a receptionist and veterinary assistant. How could we say no?! She’s perfect! She worked as a veterinary assistant and receptionist until she received her certification and became a Veterinary Technician for us. Since 1996 she has been an amazing role model and coworker to staff at Countryside and is an extremely skilled trainer with employees. Kathie and her husband share 3 awesome kids together, a girl and 2 boys. Thanks for all your continued hard work and dedication to Countryside, Kathie! “Dakota” the Akita puppy is all ears asking everyone to listen up for us! Countryside has seen flea cases DAILY this week alone and last week we also saw a noticeable increase! 🙈These are many pets who have never had fleas before, some are even indoor cats that fleas somehow were brought in to the house on shoes, the dog, or other ways unknown! 😱PLEASE make sure your pets are on flea and tick preventatives. Fleas FAVORITE weather is fall and they are really out in full force this season. When they come into your home, they drop eggs pretty immediately that getting rid of them for good can be a pain until you’ve stopped their lifecycle.
