Personality traits: this man is. So tired. He is tired on a level that is difficult to comprehend. Very guilt stricken about Many Things but as of right now he is most guilty over being the reason his younger self is trapped. Worryingly good at compartmentalizing. Misses his brothers so much. Loves his son so much. Does his best to give leaderly reassurance and lift the burden of guilt from others. HORRIFIED by the idea of making any of his present-timeline family members face the Krang ever again. Doesn’t know how to exist if he is not being responsible for something at any given moment. Very objective-driven and quick to assume the worst of any given situation and react accordingly. Haunted.

As for writing tips, I guess just? Keep writing? Seriously my old writing seems so bad to my eyes now but you just kind of have to find stories that hold meaning to you and brute force the words into them and simply by writing more, you will improve. Read a lot, read stories that you think have interesting styles and voices, try and figure out what makes that prose work. And EXPERIMENT god I cannot stress this enough: play around with tense, POV, stylization, formatting, etc. I went to like 2 writing camps in my late teens and 1 writers conference and that is the most formal creative writing education I’ve ever gotten, everything else has been trial and error and just… writing, and finding what works for me along the way. But you gotta start somewhere, so the most important thing is to just start, and let it be bad at first because drafts are a thing and you can always edit, but you kinda need words on the page first xD

3. What’s a fic idea that you have but haven’t written yet?

I've had various ideas for fandoms as I go through them, but few that I was strongly tempted to actually write. Back when I was super into the Dream SMP, I had an idea for a Sleepy Boys Deity!AU that I had a bunch of thonks about but never wrote. CURRENTLY I am poking at a crossover idea between Rise and one of my old all time favorite kids cartoons, Secret Saturdays.

13. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

OH THIS IS FUCKING HILARIOUS ACTUALLY SO

BACK IN THE DAY MY FIRST ONGOING FANFIC SERIES EVER WAS FOR LAZYTOWN, and everyone who read it left really nice supportive comments and tl;dr I love that fic so much I poured my whole heart into it, BUT. One particular day, on April 1st, I got a stupid idea to write a joke chapter, and I wrote it all in one go in a feverish delirium and posted it, and SOMEONE was SO OFFENDED by it that they commented for the first time just to tell me they hated me and hated the chapter and at the time I got super freaked out and worried over it but looking back that's fucking hilarious. The guy apologized after I responded to him but it is SO FUNNY that the only time I have ever gotten hate for a fic, it was over an April Fool's Day prank chapter xD

16. How long is your longest fic?

Same fic as the above answer actually, my Lazytown fic series, in total, is over 250k words. It's still the longest overall fic series in the entire tag on AO3 (outing myself big time here xD) and, tbh, I think it's still the only relatively popular fic on that tag that didn't end up going on perma-hiatus, to my knowledge. (And not to out myself or nothing but I'm theoretically trying to turn that fic into its own Thing since it bears literally no resemblance to the source material anymore. I have it all figured out I just can't write it to save my life right now xD)

Sam Hensley (who is on here as samsketchbook and who's drawings and sculptures you should totally check out if you're into long Furbies), has proposed that it is the physical Furby that is itself the conduit. What exactly the Furby is a conduit for... we do not yet know.

We all know Furbies lay Orbeez eggs that Worms on a String hatch from, but did you know that when a Furby escapes captivity it will revert back to its feral long worm form in less than a year

If your looking for a story arch thing for Donnie? I have some ideas, you don’t have to use them or course, just some ideas to bounce off….

Through the show Donnie is on his phone (and in season 1 he had a gaming hyperfixation/focus) and in season 2 that one episode he was without his phone he started to scratch himself and was irritated, maybe a phone addiction? Since he’s canonical autistic it could be a routine thing? Or a safety net. Another thing is him being a soft shell? Maybe he can have chronic pain? Another idea is him wanting praise from his dad, what could the effect be and how his relationship with splinter improved?

I have a short 1 chapter fic in the works for a Chronic Pain Donnie! So, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's HCed/thought about him with chronic pain! It's honestly a take I haven't seen before, but it honestly seems like an honest to god amazing add-on to all his body issues already, LMAO. Plus, out of all of them, his knee pads look most like knee braces!

As for the rest of your ideas...I'll definitely mull them over! The difficult part of having Donnie's story at the very end of the series (Leo being the first, Raph the second, and Mikey as the third) is that a lot of issues are mostly resolved/in the works, especially since Splinter has his own character change through Leo, Raph's and Mikey's stories making the parental issues after Leo and Raph's stories harder to address.

But that being said. Having his body be an issue that ties up everything in the series is an idea I've leaned towards while brainstorming for it, as well as the inclusion of magic. But we probably won't know for sure until I'm writing for Raph or Mikey's stories since that'll probably help with what issues would still be left over to tackle.
