I headcannon MC to be an actual sheep. It's just that Lord Diavolo and all the other demons just think anything from the human world is a human and Solomon didn’t correct them cuz he thinks it's funny. And that's why all the brothers think MC is so cool. But really they’re just a sheep and don’t understand when they're getting lectured by Lucifer or in danger.

oh, i'm sure there's more than enough of that to go around. I imagine that elves (and other non-human races) may have a fetishized image of humans as much as we do for them. Or at least that's how it is in the Devo Cinematic Universe because i said so.

Elves tend to be a little...snooty. If your race lived practically forever, is naturally attuned to magic and come from historic lineages of powerful ancestors you'd have a bit of a superiority complex too. In comparison, humans are just so very fascinating: they live life with a vigor and urgency that elves will never truly grasp. Their intellect will never compare to that of the elves, their strength to orcs/demons, their senses to the beastfolk...but there is something so charming about this haplessness. So why don't you just relax and let them take care of you, as their personal little pet for the time being? What I'm saying is, they would most definitely dote on you – to a nauseating degree, and there is something so unmistakably patronizing about it. afterall, you just can't do anything without their help, can you?
