I'm trying to wake a mostly dead fandom, but maybe someone is still lurking here and there:

I'm looking for an ArthurEames, Dream Husbands, fic and I only remember that Eames was his usual flirty self, so Arthur finally decided that he was tired of ignoring the flirting and kissed him, only for Eames to he shocked and apologetic, telling him that the flirting was only fun and never meant to be taken seriously (I don't remember but I feel like he thought he was straight). Arthur is of course humiliated and hurt and distances himself. Only after that does Eames notice that he's jealous when he sees Arthur with other people (men specifically I believe) and realises that he has feelings for him after all.

It was either on AO3 or even on LiveJournal maybe. I don't think it was on FFnet but I can't be completely sure. I've been trying to find it for a while, tho it's been years since I've read it, it might be gone into the void.

In a twist of fate, Philips has Steve removed from Project: Rebirth and sent to train as a medic. When his ship out is delayed, Bucky Barnes is given the opportunity to become a better man and a super soldier. MCU canon is reinterpreted in an epic as Bucky becomes a superserumed intelligence worker under Peggy Carter, then Captain America, and as Steve joins the Commandos, then becomes the Winter Soldier.

Too sickly to be an alpha by society’s standards and too ill to carry children or deal with heats, his body just didn’t do anything. Bucky wishes he knew. That he could know. But since it’s not an option, he’ll always just be grateful for being able to hear Steve say his name like this in general – and when Steve whimpers it, that’s the way Bucky likes best.
