Servings: 10 tortillas Ingredients: 1 cup coconut flour 4 tablespoons psyllium husk powder ½ cup softened butter, coconut oil, or grass-fed lard ¼ teaspoons garlic powder ¼ teaspoons cumin ½ teaspoons red chili powder 2 cups hot broth or hot water Procedure: Add all dry ingredients to a bowl. Mix well. 2. Add butter and/or coconut oil and mix thoroughly. 3. Pour hot broth into the bowl and stir with a spoon until the butter is melted and everything is well incorporated. 4. Roll dough into a log shape. Cut into 8 equal parts. 5. Grease a griddle, cast iron skillet, or frying pan lightly with butter or coconut oil, then heat to medium heat. 6. Shape each part into a ball. On a sheet of parchment paper, take each ball and roll out as well as you can. If necessary, use a piece of parchment paper on top of the dough, as well. If the dough tears, it is easily fixed. Just keep working with it. Your goal is to get it spread out evenly. 7. Grab a medium size pan lid, place it on top of the dough, twist, and lift. You will get perfectly round tortillas. 8. Lift the parchment paper and place the tortilla over your hand, peeling the paper off with your other hand. 9. Continue doing this until all of your dough is used. Don’t forget to use the excess dough to roll together for more tortillas. 10. Put into the hot griddle until the bottom begins to brown, then flip. Cook both sides until nice and browned, remove, and enjoy. 11. Use these to make quesadillas, tacos, and many other recipes! Chocolate Indulgence Keto Cake🎂🍩🍪 ( please share with family and friends) Ingredients: Cake: ● 6 large eggs. ● 2 ¼ cups almond flour. ● ¼ cup full fat milk. ● 6 tbsp butter (unsalted). ● 2 tsp stevia (heaped). ● 2 tsp baking powder. ● 2 tsp vanilla extract. ● ¼ tsp salt. Chocolate Frosting: ● 1 cup butter (unsalted). ● ½ cup cocoa powder (unsweetened). ● ½ cup thick cream. ● 1 tbsp stevia. ● 1 tsp vanilla extract. Instructions: ● Preheat oven at 325 and grease two 8” round non-stick baking pans. ● Mix together eggs, melted butter, milk, stevia and vanilla. ● Gradually add in almond flour, mixing until a smooth batter is formed and then add baking powder and salt. ● Evenly divide the mixture between the two baking pans and bake in the middle of the oven for 15-20 minutes until cakes are slightly raised. (Insert a toothpick and if it comes out clean, they are ready). ● Let cool for 10 minutes and remove from pans onto a wire rack. Let cool for an additional 30 minutes. ● As the cakes cool, prepare the frosting by mixing thick cream, butter, vanilla, stevia and cocoa powder; mix until light and fluffy. ● Place one cake layer on a flat plate (with the flat side up). ● Using ⅓ cup of frosting, spread over the top of the cake. ● Place the second layer on top of the first and spread ⅓ cup of frosting over the top. ● Use the remaining frosting around the sides of the cake until completely covered. Follow us @ketodiet.special to get more daily Keto recipes I came to the realization I haven’t been giving cauliflower nearly as much love as I should be. . This steak, greens, and truffled creamy cauli combo plate was SO. GOOD. . The truffled cauli was so easy I am going to have it on heavy rotation going forward. I just boiled some cauliflower florets for about 10 minutes, mashed them in the sauce pan (you can also use a food processor), added & mixed in 3 tablespoons of cream cheese well, tossed in some fresh scallions, and added my secret ingredient some truffled avocado oil - give it a little taste, and add some sea salt / pepper to taste. Beware: you might just want to eat the whole thing in one spot. . I served it up with some steak that I cooked up in my cast iron pan. Simple does it here: . 1.I took out my steak from the fridge so it comes to room temperature (it cooks much more evenly this way) . 2.Dabbed the steak down on both sides with paper towel to remove excess moisture. . 3.Massaged in some of the truffle oil . 4.Sprinkle on sea salt + pepper on both sides and let is sit for a few mins . 5.Got a cast iron pan on medium/high heat, added some butter/oil, then cooked it for about 4-5 mins on each side for medium rare. Dont flip the steak back and forth, just let it do its thing. . 6.Remove from heat, let it sit for a few more mins, then slice up. . I served this all together with some arugula that I just dressed with some lemon and sea salt + pepper, and the cauli. Get a little bit of everything on each bite, and its heaven. .
