#scarletthalo: Five seasons ago, I attended my very first #nyfw #ss16 in September 2015. There were some #streetstyle photographers who approached me to take some shots of my #ootd. They asked me where I from, I said "I'm from China". They were intrigued "wow, really? You are not skinny!?" That's the moment I realized, my Asian face and black hair won't even speak enough for my identity, but my size and body type did?? For the passed two years, I've been working on building my image in representing #curvyAsianwomen in the fashion industry. I am glad that more people are becoming aware of my story.
