#silm#silmarillion#gil galad#gil galad son of plothole#happy valentines day from six different gil origin ships#between these guys there's one quarter-maia; one half-maia; and one full valarindi#angbang-galad is a little heavy on the blue/white/gold/eagle motif to distance himself from the obvious heritage#magluth-galad's voice kind of cancels out the special properties on both sides so he sounds surprisingly normal#as much as is possible for a line of luthien + house of feanor kid to be#curufinrod-galad is very sparkly#halenthir-galad is most definitely not wearing feanorian style cloak pins#what do you mean those are clearly four pointed stars. no relation whatsoever#maglor+eonwe galad looks like he's yelling at magluth galad lol#the face patterns on angbang maglor+eonwe and magluth galads are based on my headcanons for ainur face markings#this batch is pretty interesting looking#curufinrod galad looks exactly like celebrimbor (and is hopefully a better half brother than his grandfather)#all the arafinwean hair got diluted when mixed with another finwean#angbang galad can shift between fanar but it takes a lot more effort than it normally should + he can't get rid of the sauron face markings#bc of the way melkor is stuck in his form#so typically angbang galad wears the silver haired fana. but in battle or whenever hes focused on something else#he automatically reverts to the balrog esque form#which tends to be a problem in terms of accidental friendly fire. hence the shining helm afar seen
