so i took the advice of someone who commented on my post about being stuck on hades boss fight (thank you again), got lucky and found the charged shot hammer upgrade for Aegis, then proceed to cheat my way into first complete run in hades lmao

why turn on god mode/easy mode when you can just cheat

#my good mutuals....you did not believe in me. but you underestimated my desperation....i will cheat if i can cheat #it feels better to beat radiance for the first time in hollow/knight tho. at least i didn't have to cheat that one. that was real skill #but anyways. just stand in a corner and use charged shot on hades (it'd 139 per shot) and use athena's boons for the rest of the game #it'd be like a fucking cat walk. for the final boss anyways. you do have to be careful with theseus and asterius still #mae overshares #ok fine i will say it. the shield was good. i wish im better with idk. the spear because i REALLY want to clear with aspect of achilles #but whenever i brandished achilles' spear i acted like a fool so it's likely that i may never clear with his spear. tragic #im ok with clearing with aspect of chaos though. i like chaos. they are neat. and their special works well with charged shot upgrade #currently trying to unlock aspect of arthur for stygius right now. it MIGHT be the best aspect of the sword #fingers crossed i can use arthur's sword to clear my first run that i DON'T cheat my way out of #it'd be nice to clear with a weapon related to a greek mytho icon instead of....rando from a different mythology #but as much i like nemesis....it'd be much more difficult to clear it hades' boss fight iwith it. if it has to be arthur. then so will it be #for the spear i would hate to pick guan yu over achilles' aspect tho. but it heals you if you play it well smh #achilles gave you damage boost and dexterity but if you are stupid you just end up missing your mark #and dashing around like an panicked idiot instead of hitting any enemies. which is what happens to me #(still not over the fact that to unlock any hidden aspect you have to reveal guan yu's first and to reveal his aspect #you have to go listen to achilles pondering on whomst the fuck guan yu is asjdfksaf)#(still not entirely sure how zag seems to know who beowulf is. i expect him to not know any of the weapon aspects)#(maybe he stops asking after achilles failed to know anything about a Chinese deified general)#not looking forward to use the meow meow mittens or the literal gun. and while i hated the bow i want to use aspect of chiron more #just because idk man he's chiron. he's like the mentor of my mentor. it's just neat. narratively speaking.#also with his special i think i can actually learn to use the bow well. even tho i hate the bow in a game built for melee weapons #and i'd like to use aspect of hera more just for the aesthetic (it really matches with zag's outfit)#anyways im just excited that i cleared my fisrt run. even tho it took way too long
