Is It Finally Happening? Minicolas Spotted Together After Months Apart!

Yesterday afternoon a certain Crown Prince and certain Pierrelander Princess attended the same birthday party (although we have to admit they arrived with separate people at different times. *insert sad face here*) at the Hampton estate in Windenburg. 

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Nicholas was rumored to have been in a serious relationship with Her Imperial Highness Princess Minerva way back in the day (before the whole child-out there-of-wedlock-situation with You-Know-Who went down) and were, in our opinion, tragically separated. The two haven’t really been seen together outside of official functions in the last two and half years since the doomed relationship, although sources from both their camps keep saying that they’ve remained friends since the birth of Princess Magdalena of Ancastor.

Minicolas fans were happy to see their reunion at Sir Graham Hampton’s 88th birthday party yesterday, where they were photographed spending quite a bit of time together throughout the party, sharing lively discussions with mutual friends at the event. 

The Crown Prince has been a close friend of the Hampton family for years and was completely at ease with the family’s other guests which consisted of close friends and family along with business associates and former colleagues of Sir Hampton; as a powerful female Ambassador, Princess Minerva has been a longtime fan of the former Women’s Rights activist and was happy to discuss Sir Hampton’s work with him and his family.

The two were seen catching up with Princess Ana towards the end of the party before HIH returned to her official residence in Windenburg.

HIH and HRH were later seen taking a stroll around the expansive Hampton estate gardens, with Prince Nicky being overheard giving an in depth tour of the place to the Pierrelander native. There was not a bit of awkwardness seen in their body language throughout their conversation, in fact, the two seemed completely at ease with another, giving credence to their previous statements claiming that they were still good friends. We should hope that they’re on friendly terms with one another considering that Princess Minerva is one of Princess Magdalena’s godmothers!

As guests snapped shots of the pair throughout the afternoon and evening, we could certainly see some lingering feelings in their glances...or at least, we hope so. It could certainly still be two close friends having a chat but the #Minicolas stan in us wants to be right with many of the public in agreement!

Many online have flocked to show their support and excitement for the hope of the two revisiting their relationship, but sources close to both the Crown Prince and HIH say otherwise.

"There’s a lot of old affection and mutual respect in their relationship,” an anonymous staffer close to Princess Minerva told us after we reached out. “But I don’t believe there’s currently anything more than friendship budding between them. Minnie also adores little Magdalena like her own family, so they’ve actually spent quite a bit of time together privately, away from cameras, with Nicholas’ daughter so of course they seem amicable and close; people really need to stop reading too much into things.”

Someone from the Crown Prince’s camp (also anonymous) commented as well:

“Nick’s always kept her [HIH] in his heart. She was it for him, but he’s left the romantic parts of his life on the back burner for over a year now. He’s just not focussing on anything other than his friends, his family, and his job. A spark probably is still there but I can’t see him reaching out to do anything about it now.”

Well, it’s disappointing but if our sources are to be believed our Minicolas dreams won’t be coming true anytime soon...but we’ve learned to never say never so we’ll continue to root for them, no matter how long it takes!
