Roy's sister/Dr. Sullivan
I've seen plenty of discussion for Watsonian explanations of why Dr. Sullivan is a different race than Roy (mostly of the half sibling variety).
But what if...
She was the host sister from whoever Roy stayed with in Sunderland? Also makes more sense for them being close than if Dr. Sullivan had been significantly younger when Roy left (a trend I've seen).
