Playing around with the idea of a potential Childish Harmony 3.0.

1.0: Plot and tone distract from the intended story.

2.0: The same exact problem again

2.1: Minimal plot to let the character arcs take center stage.

3.0: Plot that supports the themes and character arcs!

The main update is that instead of going into dungeons and fighting wild animals, the process of Jamie getting home would require them to get character development, such as some Magic Thing that responds to shameless, unrestrained emotion. Also probably have more people for Jamie and Snivy to talk and interact with. Also whenever I type 3 or less numbers at the start of a paragraph they get really big:
