Day 2 hair. I used to wash my hair everyday - the whole routine of cleansing, conditioning, squishing and styling. April 26, 2019 and 2020. Exactly 1 year apart. Back then, I didn't know I was using the wrong products for my hair. My shampoo, conditioner and styling products all had harmful or insoluble ingredients like different types of sulfates, drying alcohols, silicones, etc. Back then, I've already embraced my curly hair even though I was being ridiculed. I already knew about CGM but didn't really pay attention to the ingredients of the products I was using. I have been watching videos and have been reading up on taking care of and styling curly hair to make it less frizzy and more manageable. Fast-forward to today, my hair is longer, curlier, more moisturized (but still hungry for water) and overall healthier.
