While selecting the ink for the Vermillion Garden prompt, I remembered this unobtanium gem I found in Taipei back in 2018. Curefood’s Notre Dame de Paris was a super small local production. I was very lucky to get my hands on this ink as it was one of the last in the shop... I love the neon red color, the purple shimmer and how it sheens in contrasting chartreuse. ❤️💜💚 . Yet as you can see here, it is so very DRY that one of every three letters is barely there, and I had to keep priming to get it out of the parallel nib (or any nib for that matter). 😣 . Inks like these are why @justvanness White Lightening or Kodak’s Photoflo are very good tools for the experienced ink lover.... 🤓 . Since this has been a bit of a sensitive week, I’m a tad behind schedule (bone is in draft for now and I’ll try to catch up tonight or tomorrow). Bare with me, the point of #FPtober is to feel good and inspired, I cannot do it just to rush.
