Working on scene redraws with Vher’s Biblically Accurate Height, and I cannot get over how comically short they are compared to Cullen. This man has to bend his knees, bend forward as much as he can in that cuirass and crane his neck down to get that kiss.

And it’s just so funny to me that the Inquisition is headed by this 5 foot nothing twinky elf that’s seconds from bolting after being interrupted while attempting to court that 6’2” Nervous Boy that’s supposed to be leading their army.

Like, Vher is a dangerous and powerful hedge witch that can bring lightning down from the sky and Cullen is a capable warrior and competent general and they’re both like bashful deers in the headlights when caught trying to confess to each other. Well, Vher is shy now, Cullen is about to beat that poor messenger.

Headcanon: Cullen didn't actually realize Dorian is gay and was using the opportunity of playing chess with him to both gauge what kind of relationship he had with the Inquisitor (since the two are attached at the hip) and to learn more about her.

Dorian figured this all out in about five seconds and had entirely too much fun with it.
