Una de las primeras fotos que colgué en Instagram y que me parece interesante recordar, ya que pocas veces tenemos la oportunidad de fotografiar tan afuera una culebra de mar, mal llamada congrio de arena incluso por mi 😅☝️. Esta especie permanece enterrada durante el día en fondos arenosos dejando ver únicamente unos centímetros de su afilada boca. Por la noche es un depredador de alrededor de 2 metros de largo que caza fuera de la arena y utiliza el extremo de su cola para cavar un agujero en el que se entierra. También tuve la suerte de verlo en una nocturna totalmente fuera y tardó como 30 segundos en enterrarse de lo largo que era.😱🤩Let me repost by myself this shot postet at the beggining of my Instagram account. We call it sea snake or sometimes wrongly sand conger. It’s so difficult to take a pic of this creature because during the day it is buried into the sand botton and you can only see a few cm of its sharp mouth. At night it goes out of the sand to hunt, and returs into digging with its flat tail.
