This #cubanmahogany table was originally built in September. It was grown in Kaimuki (16th Ave) and mulled by @kalamahardwoods. It has slowly turned a deeper and richer shade of red. No, it wasn’t out in the sun except for pictures. It’s been completely covered for months. The best thing? The new color only enhances the amazing character of this live edge piece. Pretty incredible. Antique Regency Cuban Mahogany Pembroke Table at Marylebone Antiques | This antique Regency Pembroke dining table is in wonderful original condition & of top quality. The top is solid Cuban mahogany, with a fabulous grain & unlike many of these Pembroke table, there are no splits or warps. This is a very heavy well made piece of furniture. It has two drop flaps & a long drawer in the middle. The top section sits on a strong turned column, that in turn sits on a shaped platform base with sabre legs & original brass feet & casters. This table is also a very good size when opened & because of the central legs, there is more room than normal for seating, as there are no legs in the corners to get in the way. Here’s a Cuban Mahogany Entertainment Console that was delivered a few weeks ago. Similar to the Cuban Mahogany dining table from a while back, I wish everyone could see this one in person. The details of the wood grain and curl are just incredible. The custom design here features a live edge slab, splayed legs and push to open door and drawer hardware.
