Because every time I delivered a baby… .. I was right in the heart of a happy family for one or two hours. No matter that I always have to go home on my own. No matter that… the one thing that makes me feel better… is a glass of Scotch. Or something like it. There are so many things like it. Looking back… .. it seems to me my father was quite unadventurous. Do I have to say it now? My name is Beatrix. But people call me Trixie. And I am an alcoholic.

“Something marvelous is happening underground, something we’re just learning how to see.” -the Overstory by Richard Powers Yesterday I shot a video of a Roots meditation that I am doing for @toivo_center and healing from within. This was at a spot on the edge of my yard where four huge Norway spruce trees fell in different directions opening up a crater of earth in the center where all the trees were. The roots of the tree behind me are about 20 feet high in the air! The magic and power of nature never ceases to amaze me! The energy of the space where these 70-100 year old trees stood is powerful. I have been meditating down there often and was excited to share the meditation with others. I will post a link to the video in my profile when it is ready.
