ADD has lived in a corner of my mind since I've read the first chapter - a modern romance novel that has left me absolutely ruined waiting for what comes next. Hands down one of my favorite pieces I have read in my known memory, not just this month. I posted about this last month, which includes some more info, but I will endlessly recommend ADD.

It's going to be hard seeing this one leave my subscriptions, no more beautiful characters and stunning writing over my morning coffee. Touched on this one last month as well, but just go read it. I promise, you'll like it.

Ace by Karumen

Ace is everything you'd want from a new adult novel - dorky, cute, dramatic, and just enough porn - compiled together by writing that just makes you want mote. Touched on this one last month (I'm seeing a pattern here) and the new updates have only added to this sentiment.

Masterfully written tension and the absolute shitshow that is your early twenties come together to craft an edge-of-your-seat romance. WFT is unique in that it's written by two separate authors (nuance given in the fic) who's work flows together in such a fantastic way. Touched on this one last month too.

Eren and Armin's Infinite Playlist by elthedane

Currently Active | Eremin | E | Modern AU

I have never seen the first chapter of a work get such much immediate praise as I did with this, but is it ever worth it. You're given an insight into the relationships of the characters through an eclectic shared playlist which follows them through a shared swan song.

History Retold by a_bounded

Finished | Eruri | E | Amnesia AU

You walk through History Retold holding hands with the main character as you both figure out the path their life has taken years after the fact. Beautifully done side characters, gut-wrenching angst, and a plot line that will leave you breathless.

Sacrificial Lamb by lmaok

Currently Active | Ereri | E | Modern AU

First of all, huge trigger warning for many, many aspects of this fic. Second of all, holy fucking shit is this ever genius. Thriller and erotica is such a winning combo for this fic, and there isn't an update on this yet that hasn't made me audibly react to the writing.

Family fluff, baby Armin and Historia, and a meet-cute - need I say more? Well yes, but this toothrottingly sweet teacher and single dad AU will leave even those with the coldest of hearts kicking their legs in the air.

In my notes I have this written as "everything 50 shades wishes it could be" which so accurately describes this fic. Knocks the rivarmin dynamic out of the park with some really, really cool worldbuilding and of course, some damn good porn.

Spring Thaw by @watergirl-writes

I can’t do this fic justice in bullet points. One of the most beautiful things I have ever read in my life. I binge read this in an entire night and every second of it was so enjoyable, even when I was violently sobbing. Criminally underrated, fantastic deaf representation, and it tackles grief in such an eloquent way that I truly think everyone should read it.

In Our Bedroom After the War by srednia

This oneshot tore my heart out and put it back together. I’m sucker for post-canon works, but this one with Mikasa, Jean, and Armin trying to settle into a new rhythm and dealing with grief is such a standout.

He’s Just Kidding by RichiesToesHurt

Completed | Eruri | E | College AU

This gave me ‘Perks of Being a Wallflower’ vibes in the best way possible. Although the story is a standout, the side characters of this one are absolutely phenomenal as well.

Indiscretion by Primavera

Big thank you to primavera for introducing me to my new favourite rarepair this month. What starts as a fling has turned into a situationship spanning years of hurried hookups and hidden feelings. So excited to see where this is going and hoping that it’s not going to break my heart any further.

Under the Tuscan Sun by Haikyuucia

Under the Tuscan Sun is a fanfic beach read about a summer fling between American Jean and Italian Marco. After following Sasha to Italy, Jean runs into a handsome stranger who wants to show him what Italy has to offer. Super, super cute.

The Endling by bluuevains

It’s hard to put The Endling into words, or compare it to other works, because it’s in such a league of it’s own. Gay space pirates, some of the best worldbuilding I’ve ever read, beautiful prose, and a compelling story. Even if you’re not an Eruri person, just go read this, I promise.
