Deadalive for the X Files episode ask

oh, I was so checked out for seasons 8 and 9. This is funny because seasons 8 and 9 are some of the episodes I remember watching with my dad most as a kid. We liked Doggett because he was Terminator and I love s8 Scully because she's sad and beautiful.

DeadAlive is a lot of things for me. I mostly feel annoyed about it. I was just getting used to Mulder being gone when they brought him back and kept bringing him back. When as a kid and I heard David Duchovny left the x files for seasons 8 and 9, I believed he wasn't allowed to be in seasons 8 or 9.

So for me, DeadAlive is still another episode that "shouldn't be" and I have a hard time watching it and enjoying what it presents to me. I mean, he was dead. Mulder was dead and buried in the ground and then suddenly he was alive. The episode is too much like Jesus Christ's resurrection for me and I got sick of the lazy biblical references.

That is NOT to say I don't love the moments we see in the ep and what they say and do for the characters. Some of my favorite lines and moments for MSR are held within season 8 and DeadAlive specifically.
