Episode 2! I love seeing Grissom and Sara just be married and a couple and together. I like seeing the new team work together, and the inclusion of Allie’s interracial relationship was great. Grissom being Grissom at the storage facility was the absolute best, and Folsom has good comedic timing. We got Roby continuing to be a good leader and Sara continuing to be a good friend, and a new tech (plus Grissom holding the tape for Sara was so cute). Hodges having a wife and future kid was a surprise. The swingers’ club part was both amusing and uncomfortable, and I loved Brass talking to Elvis and Elvis talking back. The camera bit was creepy, and we got at least a small COVID reference with Folsom’s mask. The conversation with the OGs was great, and I liked seeing more of Folsom, Allie, and Roby’s team dynamic. Hodges’ framer being an animal abuser makes them even more unhinged and dangerous. Grissom being excited about the new technology and bonding with Ramirez was -for lack of a better word- cute, and the end scene was great. The high-tech effects got to me a bit more this week. I liked Folsom more this episode than I did last week, and seeing Grissom and Sara working together again made me so happy. We got so much GSR content, and I hope it continues throughout the show.

Accidentally did something cool, so y'all get a little teaser of what I'm doing. Will post this in higher quality, if/when I upload this on YouTube, where the actual AMV is going.

Also, no, of course this whole long thing is not gonna be in the AMV. It's just that while I was clipping the episode, I happened to do this part over where it is with the song, and I found that they were actually quiet beat synced; I liked it, and decided to save and post it.

As for those of you who I asked to vote on the song, Absolute is not the final decision; I'm still waiting for votes from some of you. But it has more votes so far, and I'm really antsy about this, because it's my first time. So I thought I'd get started. And even if Tell Me That I Can't ends up being the official work, the practise sure never hurt me.
