watched grave danger for the first time on Saturday
so..
I am not OK. it's gonna be a while before I can rewatch it. like. I was excited cause it's the most popular episode (based on tumblr findings) and then I got to it and it hurt me. I almost cried. it was bad. but also good. because they saved him in time.
and now I get the joy of his healing journey.

Good morning y'all! We're officially halfway through George Eads Appreciation Week at Day 4: Whump/Fluff! I decided to actually go with Whump because the rest of my drawings are pretty dang fluffy, plus, as you can see here I had a pretty fun idea for a drawing of Whump 😏😉😏😉.
This day in particular is dedicated to @panchostokes and anyone else that really likes to see the George Eads in a Box trope 😂. Between CSI's Grave Danger and Macgyver's Mardis Gras Beads + Chair, some of his best scenes have come from the King of (Our) Hearts being put in a box! See if you can catch all the references to both!

George Eads Appreciation Week
Day 2; Favorite Episode
Though there are a lot of episodes between MacGyver and CSI that I really love, there wasn't even a contest on this one.
Hands down I think Grave Danger is the perfect representation of the incredible acting ability and emotional range that George possesses.

At the beginning it was just physical attraction: Eric asked Calleigh telephone number right after having met her.
Then they started to work together and he was always amusing to her ability to resolve situations (like in 1x6 when she took fingerprints of a recalcitrant suspect).
The attraction became affection: they loved each other in a friendly way, they always were be there for the other, they cared about each other, they also teased each other almost flirting. But she had Hagan and Eric… Many, many different girls. Then, something started to change.
First: Speedle died and Eric even made sex with unknown women, losing his badge.
Second: Marisol died.
Third: Eric was shot and risked to die. But now is Calleigh the one again engaged, with Jake Berkeley. And Eric discovered jealousy (5x24).
For a while they seemed going to talking about this thing that was between us… But then, nothing. And then she was kidnapped; Eric became crazy and fought with Cooper, partially responsible for what happened (6x15).
After this, Calleigh read that Eric wanted to settle with her. So, Calleigh risked to die for smoke inhalation and Eric lost his mind: he put on her wrist his watch, so she could understand that he was there for her, and, overall, he said that he couldn’t imagine going to work without her… And also that he couldn’t imagine livimg his life without her.
And she heard him; Eric didn’t deny his words, saying that it was real (7x14). Then, he discovered that he was born in Cuba and they taken him under arrest. And when they let him free, finally Eric and Calleigh kissed each other and we understood that they were together even before (7x16).
But then thing became difficult, especially working together and for his biological father. And Calleigh shot Eric, who risksed again to die. Then, after he recovered, he understood that he wasn’t able to still work as CSI and left the team, but overall Cal; she died into inside but pretended the opposite with him (8x5).
After a while, she risked to die again during a fire and he ran to see her (8x20).
Before this, they dated again, even if she said that this wouldn’t have happened again, and Eric that it just kept happening (8x14).
They continued to love each other and at the beginning of Season 9, he said ‘I love you’, but Cal was unconscious (9x1).
After a while Calleigh told Eric she loved him as a family. She said he was still beautiful, but didn’t want that he helped her with the decision of adopting the kids (10x18).
At the end, Eric, however, talked to the social services to make them understand that Calleigh wasn’t alone. This is the most significant gesture that he could have done to make her understand how much he loved her and how much he was changed (10x19).
All my ramblings

Forgot to post on my time zone, but since it's still the 19th somewhere, it's still Grave Danger day.

Ok I know Nick is obviously the focus of grave danger but I just want to talk about Warrick for a minute. The moment in the garage with Greg, the guilt, watching Nick in the box when he shoots out the light. The raw emotion and anger. It's just a whole new side of him and I'll literally never get over it
