Wasn't there some talk/rumours of an Arrow-verse character switching shows? They wouldn't be moving Wally over to Legends, would they?

I remember that talk from late last season, but it doesn’t appear to have come to fruition. Plus, Keiy would still be in Vancouver in that case, not LA. 

Not that it’s a competition, but if there’s a trend, I’d prefer something for Wally than Linda. His character might need it more. Something positive since that’s what K likes, it might be nice for him to see if he’s going through something and at the same time send the message about Wally being important to the show.

Something as simple as We Love Wally West might be nice and uplifting, without necessarily being accusatory because we don’t know what’s going on.

Do you happen to know how much money the Arrowverse actors make per episode? Specifically the actors on The Flash? Or where I could find that information?

The only specific salaries I’ve seen are the “top grossing TV actor” lists, and that mostly tells me how little they make rather than how much:A 2016 Variety list tells us Gina Rodriguez makes $60K per episode of Jane The Virgin. Jensen Ackles, meanwhile, makes $175K per episode of Supernatural. The fact that no one from the Arrowverse is on the list suggests that even Grant/Stephen/Melissa make less than Gina, otherwise it would be worthy of note.

I don’t know the source of the answers on this Quora page, but they claim Stephen made $30K at the start of Arrow. We can assume Grant started at that same salary, and everyone else (outside of JLM & Tom C.) makes less than him.

I say this because a 2014 TVGudie list put JLM as making $100K per episode of The Flash, and I assume Tom C. is paid at the same rate as him. Again, no one else from the Arrowverse was mentioned, so I assume they make downwind of that.

Do you know how Barry was able to come back to the same timeline in the second season, but then went to an altered one in season three? That part doesn’t make sense to me!

If you’re referring to 2.17, it’s supposed to be because the changes he made were incredibly minor, he didn’t stay in the past long, and he didn’t replace himself. Barry going back so far and altering such an important point in his own history took so much energy that it created a new reality, it didn’t just rearrange a few pieces. It was explained in 1.23 by Stein, and not adequately re-explained in s3, so I get that people were confused. But Flashpoint wasn’t your average time travel, it was literally re-arranging the universe, which meant that when Barry tried to return to his previous timeline, things were fractured.

Do you know when the crossover episodes are filmed? If the wedding is the crossover event, and it looks like it will be, I’m gonna be pissed if all these people Iris has never interacted with have a bigger role in the story than her own brother. It’s unforgivable if they don’t use this to elevate all the Wests. A wedding should be about family, not just Barry and his superhero acquaintances. The fact that Wally isn’t at his future brother-in-laws bachelor party isn’t promising.

Let’s see, today is day four of 4.05. Which means that the crossover will probably begin filming around September 18th and take at least three weeks. So we’ve got almost a month to go before we find out what Wally’s role in the crossover looks like. And there’s still four more days of filming for 4.05, so fingers crossed Wally makes an appearance!

re: annoying a wally storyline at comic con. last year they did basically the same about rip for legends, they were really hyping him up at comic con and then he was in the premiere and then nothing until the mid season finale cliffhanger ending. i really don’t recommend taking comic con “storyline hype” at face value..

I didn’t know they did that with Rip, since I simply knew he’d be gone awhile. But you’re right that the things they hype are not always the things they focus on.

Anon, if the haters didn’t get the hint in S2 when CS was supportive of WA when Iris talked about her feelings for Barry, they never will. Let them near De Nile River.

They are 100% experiencing a separate universe from the one unfolding onscreen, so there’s no way to reach them logically or emotionally.
