Carmine and Juliana had been going steady since shortly after Juliana had visited Blueberry Academy for the first time. It had been a few years, and they were still going strong.

Juliana knew how much Kitakami meant to Carmine; she was perfectly willing to move there with Carmine if that was what she wanted, and it seemed like that was what she wanted.

Even though Carmine felt a bit bad to ask that of her, Juliana was more than happy about it. Kitakami was wonderful, and there was still so much of it she hadn’t had the chance to explore.

They had a small house there where Juliana focused on learning about the local pokemon and Carmine focused on researching the history of Kitakami- including Ogerpon.

They were still so happy together, they both knew it was the right decision for them. Even when they traveled together, it was nice to have somewhere like Kitakami to call home.

I currently have a list in progress documenting all of the ScarVi ship names! (Disclaimer, I’ve seen CandyAppleShipping claimed for Juliana and Kieran first. Sorry. However, I do also have ToxicChainShipping for Florian and Kieran that could also go to Juliana and Kieran)

Me personally, I saw someone suggest CandyAppleShipping for Florian and Kieran on the day that Teal Mask was released. Plus, it’s being applied to Kieran and Florian way more anyway.

Also, isn’t ToxicChainShipping, as a name, entirely based off of the theory that Kieran was possessed by The Crummy Three? Why would we keep that when we know it’s not true? What does The Loyal Three’s ability have to do with Florian and Kieran?

Plus, having the M/F ship be named “candy apple” (cute, sweet, callback to before the two were in conflict) and the M/M ship which follows the same storyline be called “toxic chain” (restraint and pain-related imagery, literally has “toxic” in it, directly about the times that the two are in conflict) feels. Hmmm.

This isn’t directed at you, by the way (except for the bit about CandyAppleShipping being used for Kieran and Florian since the day of the DLC’s first release (or unless you came up with the name ToxicChainShipping)), this is directed at the general Pokemon fandom. We need to make better ship names that don’t rely on unconfirmed fan theories. And not be weird about MLM ships also.

for my Scarlet trainer(I always see my pokemon trainers as OCs, always having different names and even personalities) shes originally from Kanto and only moved to Paldea to attend Naranja Academy. So I'm asking for some Crystalpoolshipping headcanons of Carmine and Juliana where either during a school break or post graduation where Juliana takes Carmine to the Kanto region to enjoy the culture and pokemon and environment there

Since Juliana had seen Carmine’s home of Kitakami, and it seemed like Carmine hadn’t really traveled outside of Kitakami and Blueberry Academy, she wanted to show Carmine parts of Kanto!

Carmine was a little apprehensive at first, but Juliana seemed so passionate about the idea, she couldn’t help but agree. What was she gonna do, let her girlfriend down?

Juliana was so excited, even though they were only going to be in Kanto for about a week. There was a lot to pack into that time, and a lot of it would be spent in its bountiful nature.

Honestly, the best part for Carmine was just seeing how delighted Juliana was showing her around. That kind of excitement on her face was really cute, which she may or may not have admitted out loud.

Carmine ended up learning a lot about where Juliana was from, and found herself wanting to return sometime to see more of the region. She had a feeling Juliana wouldn’t mind at all.

I don't know if you've played the Scarlet and Violet DLCs but at the end of the teal mask dlc I honestly thought there was going to be a romantic coded scene with Carmine, kinda like the Parfum Palace Fireworks scene in X and Y.

So I was wondering if I could ask for headcanons of Carmine confessing her feelings to Juliana at the end of the Teal Mask DLC?

Juliana wasn’t sure why Carmine wanted to meet with just her, but she was really hoping that she was reading everything right. She really liked Carmine, and was sad to see her go.

Carmine felt the same way. She really liked Juliana, in more ways than she was ever expecting to- not that she ever expected to like Juliana at all, as a friend or otherwise.

It wasn’t exactly the right mood or anything, since she was getting ready to go back to Unova, but she had to tell Juliana because of that. Because of everything that already happened.

Juliana was overjoyed, but had to contain herself. They both had feelings for each other, clearly, but she was going back to school; could they really do anything about it?

Carmine was more confident about them. Even if they didn’t date then, they could still flirt over the phone. Maybe one day they’d be in the same place again, and then they could go on a proper date.

aye aye! I'm now fully caught up on the DLC!

Juliana was ecstatic that she was going to be visiting Blueberry Academy so she could see Carmine again. They’d both been a bit busy, and hadn’t been talking as much as they wanted.

That was partially because Carmine was concerned for her brother, but now that Juliana was there, hopefully everything would be resolved! She’d even go with Juliana while she challenged the BB League.

Traveling through the different biomes together was a great idea for a date, at least in both of their opinions. Juliana especially appreciated all of the expertise Carmine shared about the biomes.

Carmine was a little annoyed by all the distractions around them, but at least she could spend time with Juliana at all. It was nice to see her in person instead of over the phone.

They both hoped the future would bring them more dates, too, since their feelings were just as strong as ever. And maybe the next time they saw each other, the timing would be right, finally.

Juliana was understandably concerned by how odd Carmine was acting; it wasn’t like her at all. Was it some kind of sickness? Whatever the case, she wanted to help take care of her.

Honestly, part of it was scary. If Carmine wasn’t sleeping, she was dancing? And nothing she said made any sense. She had no idea how she could even help other than keeping an eye on her girlfriend.

When it started spreading, though, Juliana knew she had to do something more. She didn’t want to leave Carmine’s side, but her other friends were being infected, too.

Once she figured out it was a pokemon, she knew she had to either defeat it or capture it. It was a weird little creature, but it looked like it was up to her to do it.

Thankfully, everything was fine in the aftermath. Juliana decided not to embarrass her girlfriend by telling her what she’d been doing while infected, and instead decided to just spend the rest of her time in Kitakami with her.

CrystalPoolShipping date with Ninetails? (And Juliana has an Alolan Ninetails)

Juliana thought it was quite cute, and almost poetic, that their Ninetails liked spending time with each other as much as she and Carmine did. Carmine secretly thought the same.

Their date then was just Juliana showing Carmine some of her favorite parts of Paldea, since Carmine hadn’t seen a lot of them before. It was simple, but just the brand of adventurous for the two of them together.

Similarly, Juliana’s Alolan Ninetails showed Carmine’s Ninetails to some of the best spots at those locations. Juliana often laughed at how cute the two were together, all while holding Carmine’s hand.

Carmine really liked seeing the pure joy in Juliana’s face when talking about all her favorite memories in those spots, and she enjoyed the mini tour to begin with.

Those kinds of dates let them get to know each other that much better, plus it gave them some time in nature. It would probably end in a friendly battle or training, but that only elevated the experience for the two of them.
