LOG 454 21:30 3/14/XXXX END REPORT: I believe we may have a breakthrough here. The new Shrike class mech XR-208-4 has looked promising on paper and is no different in practice. We felt confident after Pilot [REDACTED]’s training and first few scenes of battle but now we can say that he is comfortable with the machine. The battle today looked like a loss until Pilot [REDACTED] managed to push XR-208-04 above and beyond to break through several limbs of the Entity. This proved to be enough of a distraction and allowed us to capture and dispel a large amount of tainted space.

The Shrike has been given the call sign: ‘Crusader’.

With Pilot [REDACTED] and Crusader now spearing the way through I believe we can finally contain the Entity in time.
