am scare to play competitive ppl in there are rlly mean and unsupportive :((( yet they all want/expect kindness and empathy even if they don’t actually admit it

how i get past dumb fear/s?

It���s not a dumb fear, and it’s not unfounded, comp can be fairly toxic.

The best thing to do would be to mute comms and chat, but if you’d rather not do that the only thing I can think of would be to get a group to play with.

Even if it’s only one or two others it still limits the amount of people in your group who’ll say anything, and you’d also get people who’d be more willing to defend you if someone does say something.

Unfortunately it is a common thing in gaming, and you’d, more likely than not, have to deal with it, regardless of the game you’re on.

It gets easier the more you play, and eventually you won’t even bat an eye at it :3

100% recommend the work of etc.etcetera on tiktok!! They take the concept of swamp fever (the actual canon disease from the show) and twists it into something much more sinister!

Totally a must see if youre like me and want something thats still connects to the canon but also want something that really turns your stomach.

I will say they REAAALLLY delve into the concept of pony body horror so if youre not a fan of really scary fucked up horses, don't look at it! Stay safe!

I HAVE!!! As one of those "ex-bronies but not really" kids that watched the show and been exposed to the grimdark side of things since i was 12, It's wild to see it going hard recently! PREEEEETTY sure a quarter of my tiktok feed is those AUs and honestly? Living for it.

I'd do an infection AU myself but I'm pretty shit brained and doubt my potential ideas would hold. Saw someone whose doing one thats literally based around swamp fever and holds up perfectly in the canon universe and I am SO HERE FOR IT!!!!
