I managed to take two kinda clear photos of Pucca right after feeding just now-

He's such a freak. He is scared of everything. I don't know what the eff happened to him at Petc0 before I adopted him but he was on death's door when I took him home and he just can't seem to realize he is safe and loved. He's been with me 5-6m now and he's so traumatized. I hate it. I hate this for him.

So I'm just gonna sit here and shoot love beams at him out of my chest like some cracked power puff girl.

I've been thinking of getting him some sort of tank mate but I don't know what because he's only in a 10g and I do not want snails.

The struggle is real trying to fight my betta's fin rot. Luckily the abrasions are finally healing but now his lil hand fin has a hole and idk if it's him nipping himself cause he's a SHIT or its weirdly shaped cause it's healing back cause it's like. Not less like before but, it's weird shaped now.

i gotta say the state of the betta cups today had me pissed. multiple fish freaking out trying to jump, more looking totally listless. even in this pic you can see all the debris floating, i tested out of curiosity and it was a full 1ppm ammonia which is fucking toxic. anyway-

Okay bettablr, here's my newest addition.

I call him Sardine, Dean for short... For now.

Not sure if the name will stick but that's what I'm working with currently.

Another tragic petc0 Betta, cup labeled 10/20/23. Water is literally moldy, over 15 rotting pellets ( I counted! ), and he is looking rough. He has a very interesting bloat to him a little lower and down more than a normal full rounded belly that I really hope isn't terminal. Not to mention the HORRIBLE fin rot/melt. And he's tiny. Very very tiny.

I'm cackling how I managed to actually name my fish dean without naming him dean. Sardine. I'm a fucking genius. Honestly he's tan and black very manly bro alpha male colors.

Sardean. And my other Betta is a flamboyant red undertone dragonscale named Fergus.

So as a brief re-introduction has been completed, here is my only singular fish currently. A grizzle CT betta named Bimmy Juffet. He has tail bitten once when he was still new to this tank but is looking decent. He is very grumpy and listens to me talk about work all day so I can’t say I blame him.

Fishtank introduction Part 3 of 13

This time the one on the left.

Like the one in the middle it's a 25l.

It's currently home to a single female crown tail betta. Shes so dark I barely see her most of the time. She has a little birth defect on her mouth, so she has trouble eating. It's why I always put the food in the same spot, even if she misses, she knows where it lands.

(Even though I've had her for a year now, I haven't named her yet, I'm open for suggestions)

If it looks like she has white spots, those are just air bubbles. This was tight after a waterchange.

The airpump sounds way louder than it is, lol
